Fund raising for school.

To distribute income periodically and at least twice a year to people who suffer from a disability who would benefit from financial assistance, and who shall have resided in the Keighley area for a reasonable time, and are of the Protestant faith.

1) The relief of patients suffering from Pure Red Cell Aplasia2) The provision in the interests of social welfare of recreational facilities for such patients3) The relief in cases of financial distress of the dependents or deceased patients4) The promotion of research into the causes and treatment of Pure Red Cell Aplasia on terms that such research is published

Burley Bridge Association was formed in 1996. It aims to build a footbridge over the River Wharfe at Burley-in-Wharfedale on the site of the existing stepping stones, that will benefit the public by providing safe year round access on foot between Burley and the Nidderdale AONB. In addition, to promote an increase in public engagement with healthy outdoor recreation.

The charity holds events for local residents with the aim of bringing the community together. We apply for local grants and donations from ie local supermarkets to fund said events, we also hold raffles etc. We have been successful and can only improve when we have our own community centre, as we currently hire a nearby building - The Good Shepherd Centre.

Maintaining three areas of land on a private estate.

We give small disboursements to enable disabled people enjoy a better quality of life. Our area of activity is mainly Leeds and West Yorkshire to help individuals who often fall outside the remit of other charitable organisations.

The Association aims to advance the education of the public and to promote research in geology and allied sciences more specifically in the North of England with particular emphasis on Yorkshire, by holding public lectures, and field meetings , supporting like-minded initiatives and by other such means as the Association's Council may from time to time determine.

The Friends of Bradford Cathedral exists to bring together in fellowship all those who care for the Cathedral, to support the Cathedral and its staff through prayers for its work, and through fund-raising for special projects as well as upkeep and maintenance.

We hold one meeting a month where we have a speaker, this may be educational (such as flower arranging) or vocational (for example working with deaf children). We also have visits to local theatre shows and places of interest. Throughout the year we meet with other WI groups in the area for social occasions.

we have no current activities scheduled, but are in contact with businesses within our area's to arrange some charity fund raising events.

Cartasport for Christ supports various Christian work throughout the country. We also support our local Keighley community both by providing funds for charities in the area and groups and individuals in need of care and funds. We have limited funds. If you are not a Christian organisation and operate outside the Keighley area we cannot help you.

Loan of fictional and non fictional books, regular pre-school reading activity, access to PC and internet services, WiFi, photocopying, scanning & laminating. Loan of jigsaws. Family History Service on request. Chess Club.

To support the education of young people at Ilkley Grammar School. To make grants as appropriate.

The Yorkshire Indian Society through its members organize large scale banquet dinners annually to raise funds to help allow the Charitable Trust to meet its objectives. This involves getting together local Yorkshire and Indian-based residents and support and sponsorship from businesses to help make the event highly successful. An attendance of over 500 people from various backgrounds is the norm.

The charity has continued to raise funds through a series of concerts, recitals, poetry readings and grant applications which are used to increase footfall and provide additional facilities for the Rydings complex. This has enabled us to extend our activities into the town and increase awareness and use of the building and its facilities

TO PROVIDE FINANCIAL HELP TO WEST YORKSHIRE POLICE STAFF EMPLOYEES AND EX EMPLOYEES WHO ARE CONSIDERED, BY THE TRUSTEES, AS NEEDY.

hospital radio in the Bradford Royal Infirmary, Bradford,radio to the patients around the wards information news and music,ward visiting and outside sports broadcasting.

Annual coffee morning, catering, fashion show

The income of the charity is used to benefit the sick, elderly and poor who reside in Low Moor & Wyke generally or such other persons resident therein as the trustees select.

To assist young students who are deemed to be excellent in their studies to fund further education, primarliy in India and Pakistan, but across all geographies.
