London Kalibari organises for all, but mainly for the members of the Indian Bengalee community, activities such as Senior Citizens' Luncheon Club, Women/Widows' Group, Yoga Classes, Music and Dance Classes, regular worship of Goddess Kali and other Hindu deities and the annual Diwali/Kalipuja on a larger scale. It also organises discussion and singing, based on religious and philosophical texts.

Provision of relief "for the benefit of deserving and necessitous inhabitants of the parish of Willesden" and for assistance towards schools and "deserving scholars" within the parish. Relief is given through the churches and voluntary organizations in the parish whose objects are known to the Trustees and parallel to their own objectives. No grants are made to individuals direct

As a community-driven charity in Brent, we empower residents by providing support in childcare, employment, mental health, and social development. Through holiday camps and training programmes, we help individuals gain confidence, develop skills, and secure opportunities. Our mission is to foster resilience, inclusion, and long-term stability for a thriving community.

The Charity was registered on November 13, 2012, and its Bank Accounts were opened on 16/07/2013. Hence, except for the Pledge amount of ?5000/- no Fund Raising Event could be conducted during the period under review. Subsequently, the Charity was formally launched in July 2013, and Fund Raising activities were conducted thereafter,which will be reported in detail next year.

The following charitable activities were undertaken by the charity during the year ended 31st July 2018:-(a) Weekly Programmes which includes educational classes for almost 150 men and women.(b) Monthly Programmes on religious practice and educational programmes (workshop and seminars).

The promotion of healthy recreation in the provision of facilities for boating and the promotion of water safety in particular; the provision of safety boat and first aid training.Our plan is to be able to provide various water safety courses and First Aid training to the members of the club.

To promote social inclusion for people with a learning disability by providing facilities for dance classes, dance groups, recreation and public performances, with the objective of improving their social and communication skills, increasing their confidence and self-esteem and improving their physical and mental health.

We support young acoustic musicians with educational and early career opportunities by way of awarding grants to music institutions and community groups and individuals and running guitar workshops and facilitating training and distributing transcriptions of music

Relief of poverty, educational and medical assistance for Zoroastrians.

RELIGIOUS AND SOCIAL

Working with local boroughs to safeguard Brent River Park and improve public access. Opposing planning applications likely to impact on the park. Arrange occasional working parties to clear undergrowth and refuse from specific areas. Help in saving and preserving buildings of character. Provide information and publicise events such as meetings and walks.

Classes, courses, lectures & demonstrations of Yoga, Relaxation, Meditation, applied Spiritual Philosophy & Stress Management; social/cultural events for raising awareness/funds for humanitarian projects organised/supported by international YIDL societies; sale/distribution of study materials, publications & related items; co-ordination of & communication to members within the UK & Ireland.

District Membership of U3A (Kenton Branch) supplying adult education to the retired. This includes forming interest groups who study languages, literature, art, family history and other special interests run by its members and lectures from invited speakers.It also runs recreational activities e.g Current Affairs, Cookery, Theatre Visits.

Providing information, advice and referral services of people facing barriers to integration especially minority ethnic including people of African origin in areas such as housing, employment, income support and education.Providing advocacy services, guidance and support.

Providing cooked kosher food to people in temporary need.

The promotion of faith in the Christian Religion.

MAIHAN ASSOCIATION PROMOTES SOCIAL INCLUSION FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT BY WORKING WITH PEOPLE IN NORTH WEST LONDON WHO ARE SOCIALLY EXCLUDED ON THE GROUNDS OF THEIR ETHNIC ORIGIN, RELIGION, CULTURE AND BELIEF (IN PARTICULAR, MEMBERS OF THE AFGHAN COMMUNITY) TO RELIEVE THE NEEDS OF SUCH PEOPLE AND ASSIST THEM TO INTEGRATE INTO BRITISH SOCIETY.

TO HELP YOUNG PEOPLE TOWARDS RESPONSIBLE ADULTHOOD BY ENCOURAGING VALUABLE PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES AND HIGH STANDARDS OF CONDUCT, USING A NAUTICAL THEME BASED ON THE CUSTOMS OF THE ROYAL NAVY.

The principal activities of the charity during the year were to advance the Christian faith, to relief sickness and financial hardship through the provision of funds, goods and services including counselling in the United kingdom and the rest of the world.This is done by sharing tracks, reaching homeless, communities and preaching the gospel of Christ and inviting them to fellowship with us.

This charity provides a range of religious and voluntary support services to its members and the general public. Requests to the church are made by personal attendance, letters, telephone calls, word of mouth. We pray for the sick, visit them in their homes, pray for the distressed on the phone, perform marriages, funerals, dedicate infants, baptize adults, we welcome everyone to our church.
