Providing educational activities in the advancement of Orthodox Judaism

The company is a charity striving to relieve poverty, disadvantage and social exclusion among vulnerable Irish people locally in Brent and across Britain. To achieve this BIAS provides a range of advice, information, support, recreational and welfare facilities, as well as contributing to local and national developments affecting the client group.

We deliver community based sports and physical activity projects in the London Borough of Brent. Projects delivered benefit those in the community that may not have access to such provision due to social of economical barriers. All our programmes focus on the health, wellbeing and personal development of the participants, their families and the wider community.

The principal activity of the charity is the advancement of the Christian religion and the relief of poverty.

To provide relief (including through provision of a community transport service), for those who live or work in Harrow and other London Boroughs, who are in need because of age, sickness or disability (mental or physical) or poverty or a lack of availability of adequate and safe public transport services.

TO PROMOTE FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC THE RESETTLEMENT AND REHABILITATION OF OFFENDERS AND EX-OFFENDERS AND TO HELP PREVENT THEM FROM RE-OFFENDING, IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY BY ENCOURAGING FAMILY SUPPORT AND THROUGH EDUCATION AND TRAINING IN ORDER THAT THEY MAY SEEK ALTERNATIVE ROUTES IN LIFE AWAY FROM CRIME.

The church exists to promote religion by worship of God through a purpose general teaching which is exclusively religious. The objectives of the Saint Panteleimon Greek Orthodox Community in Harrow and Districts are: 1. To preserve and propagate the Christian Orthodox Faith and traditions. 2. To preserve the original language of the New Testament in Divine Worship and in the ecclesiastical life of the faithful. 3. To undertake philanthropic work.

Our primary purpose is to transform the lives of disadvantaged children. Our principal intervention involves working in partnership with schools to create self-help communities that provide therapy, support and practical advice to children and their families. In this way, we improve the mental health of the children and advance their education.
