Promoting the benefit of the inhabitants of Wildmill and district and the neighbourhood in a common effort to advance education, and to provide facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation and leisure time with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants.

The Charitable Trust Fund receives funds raised via the Lions Club of Bridgend and donates them to deserving causes.

Dragon Arts and Learning promotes social inclusion through arts and learning. We dare based at The Factory, Church Street, Pontardawe, Swansea SA8 4JB. From 10:00am to 10:00, five days a week we are able to host workshops which include ceramics, art therapy, music, ICT and other creative industries. We have a 'no exclusion' ethos which means everyone is welcome to participate in workshops.

Scout Group

A charity set up to provide sports to children & adults in the local community.

To Advance the Education of Young People between the ages of 6 and 16 by providing opportunities and facilities for playing soccer and other games and sports so as to develop their physical, mental capacities so that they may grow to full maturity as individuals and members of society and that their conditions of life may be improved.

The Garnwen Trust operates in the South Wales area and is currently providing respite and holidays at the coast staying at the Garnwen Lodge situated at the Heritage Park, Stepaside. Many families have already felt the benefits, both physically and mentally, of staying at our lodge including children with disabilities as well as adults who are grieving the loss of children/adults.

We give men the opportunity to talk to others who have been through the experience of diagnosis and treatment for prostate cancer, encourage men with cancer or symptoms of prostate disease to become better informed and able to discuss and make decisions about their treatment, and work with other agencies to improve awareness, education, diagnosis, therapy and support for men with prostate cancer.

We are a local Grassroots football club affiliated to FAW (Football association of Wales) with almost 30 volunteer coaches and committee members and over 250 registered players ranging from under 6's to 2 Senior sides.

We are a religious organisation governed by the Spiritualists' National Union. Our religion is based on the 7 Principles of Spiritualism.

Performing Arts

Bridgend & District Beekeepers Association encourages, improves and advances beekeeping in Bridgend and the surrounding areas for the benefit of all. The Association provides both theory and practical courses and a programme of talks on beekeeping and associated topics for beginners and more experienced members. Those who do not keep bees but are interested in the topic are also welcome.

The charity provides financial support for children and young people and their families who ares suffering from terminal illnesses and need additional support which cannot be provided by the state.

TO PROVIDE CHARITABLE ASSISTANCE AND RELIEF TO PERSONS WHO ARE OR HAVE BEEN IN THE EMPLOYMENT OF THE COMPANY

To provide disadvantaged and disaffected young people who are not currently accessing mainstream services or agencies with the basic skills required to allow them access to vocational training and employment opportunities. The project will work with a wide range of young people throughou the Borough including those young people who are not in employment, education or training (NEET's).

Mens Walk & Talk Group for men to improve their physical and mental health

At present this charity operates a free, professional counselling service in Merthyr Tydfil and the surrounding areas for people aged 5 to 105

We help with the education of the people of Glamorgan and surrounding area in the study of birds and the science of ornithology by indoor meetings and field trips. We also contribute to the conservation of birds through research and the publication of results, including an annual Bird Report, by practical projects and by encouraging and working in partnership with others with similar interests.

We deliver free of charge Trishaws rides to the elderly and the younger less abled along the seafront of Porthcawl.Our main focus are the numerous Care Homes in Porthcawl and further on to Bridgend.We operate throughout the year, weather permitting. We are run entirely by volunteers.
