ESTA assists in the provision of facilities for education at Elmlea Infants' School (facilities not normally provided by the LEA). We organise a variety of events throughout the school year, for children and adults to enjoy and raise funds as a result. We aim to involve every family in some way. Parents and teachers help at larger events such as the Christmas and Summer Fairs.

To advance education of the public on topics including the history and development of mental health care and treatment, personal mental health and wellbeing, learning disabilities and the First World War by running and maintaining a museum for the benefit of the public

Bristol Palestine Film Festival organises an annual festival of films from or about Palestine, or made by Palestinian film-makers. The festival is centred in Bristol and the South West of England and usually takes place in December, with extra events occasionally taking place at other times. The festival also includes other art forms such as music, dance, theatre, writing or visual arts.

Encouraging the appreciation of, or participation in, musical theatre by the performance of musical shows, pantomimes and concerts at venues in or near Thornbury.

Operates a 'soup run' in the city of Bristol every night of year. Distribution of food, beverages, clothes, toiletries, blankets, information on accommodation and day centres to under privileged, needy, and vulnerable people.

Ashton Vale Community Centre is a dynamic, thriving and welcoming safe space that values diversity and works with the community to meet its needs. We are available to hire for ad hoc events and regular bookings such as exercise groups, police surgeries and play groups.

Area of operation - Northwest Bristol and South Gloucestershire.We meet monthly at Shirehampton Golf Club in Bristol.We are a group of men and women over the age of 21, who like to raise money for charitywhilst having fun in doing so, our main fundraiser is a Carol Float with which we tour thestreets in the area.

Supplementary school for the German community in Bristol - teaching bilingual children of (predominantly) primary school age to read and write in German, German culture and festivals, etc., providing a forum where German can be used with peers.

To advance the education of pupils in the school, in particular by:1) Developing effective relationships between the staff, parents and others associated with the school;2) Engaging in activities or providing facilities or equipment which support the school and advance the education of the pupils.

The relief of children and young person's affected by the complex Autism Spectrum (with or without diagnosis) or with a development delay, by the provision of support, facilities and services for them and their families. This service is provided to families from Bath an North East Somerset, Bristol, South Gloucestershire, North Somerset, Somerset and Wiltshire.

The PTA builds the school community, supports the school, provides a voice for parents and raises funds for St John's School, Clifton. Funds are raised via (1) Events such as Christmas and May Fairs (2) Gift aid giving and (3) Local business support, and are used for eg, new playground and ICT equipment and refurbishment of the school library.

The Nonesuch Rowing Foundation supports participation in the amateur sport of rowing for students at the University of Bristol and members of Bristol's community. The charity achieves this by providing individual grants to students from low-income backgrounds and by providing club grants to the University of Bristol Boat Club for the purchase of boats and equipment.

WAGS Retired Police Dog Charity is an independent charity set up to help the retired Police Dogs from Wiltshire, Avon, Gloucestershire and Somerset Police. WAGS provides financial assistance in emergency situations where a large vets bill may mean a decision is made about the dogs future based on cost. We are hoping with WAGS help any decisions are based only on the dogs welfare needs.

Provision of awards to post-graduate students in the fields of science and technology at five nominated universities.

The activities of the Charity are detailed in the review of activities and achievements in page 2 of the Financial Statements, and include Christian ministries and the relief of poverty. It only makes grants to persons known to the Trustees, and does not make unsolicited grants.

Mutual Aid Group

To assist students in financial hardship by giving them grants for educational purposes and bursaries.

For the public benefit, the relief and assistance of people in need in Bristol, and its surrounding suburbs, who may suffer the effect of homelessness by supplying them with, in particular but not exclusively by, food, clothing and related support. To provide assistance and advice to like-minded charitable groups, not limited by geography.

Support and encourage full-circle church bell ringing. Provide financial support to appropriate belfry restoration projects in affiliated churches.

Hope Against Suicide operates through a team of trained mental health responder's, offering a mobile, face to face listening service- in the busy shopping centre of Bristol by day, and areas for nightlife on an evening. This is to any member of the public grappling with poor mental health who need talk, to be signposted, and offered further advocacy support if required.
