Religious activities

Our educators visit primary schools. Each class is visited with their teacher present. The Life Space, if used, is equipped with Audio/Visual materials and interactive resources. Our Educators present a different programme of Health, Well being and Drug Prevention to each age group. The teaching fulfils the government strategy for Drug and Health Education as defined in PSHE.

Working locally with young people to develop physical and social skills primarily through the arts and in particular those involved in theatre. This is done through workshop sessions and productions on the charity's premises and through similar activities in other centres for young people i.e. schools, colleges and youth centres.

To advance the education of the pupils at the school by providing and assisting in the provision of facilities for education at the school (not normally provided by the Local Education Authority).

The Charity's principal objective is the repair and maintenance of the fabric of the parish church of the Ecclesiastical Parish of St George, Beckenham, and, after that, furthering the religious and other charitable work of the Church of England in the said ecclesiastical parish.

The sponsorship of 31 children and young adults through education age from 9 to 24 years. It includes 3 in 6th form and 14 in higher education. Provision of 6 breakfast clubs in 6 schools feeding just under 900 pupils every school day. Enhancing and improving facilities in the 6 schools through purchase of computers, installing solar panels, set up science labs and also replacing school furniture.

Provides a wide range of on-going, effective rehabilitation care therapies for stroke victims in a day centre.

To provide and maintain a garden of remembrance and a community centre.

Living On supports children and young people and their families in Orpington, Kent when someone they love has died. We run grief groups throughout the year that aim to bring families and children together in order that they feel they are not alone. We also have a Buddy service which is when a family has just lost a loved one, we connect with the family and provide support.

The trustees are to apply the income of the charity to the benefit of the residents of Hayes (Kent) for relief in need, relief in sickness, relief of the aged, and the promotion of education and for advancement in life.

ORGANISATION OF ACTIVITIES FOR THE SCHOOL COMMUNITY AND THE FUNDING OF PROJECTS AND CAPITAL ITEMS TO BENEFIT THE PUPILS OF THE SCHOOL.

WWBC provides its members and visitors with the facilities to pursue lawn bowls activity, this enables participants the opportunity for healthy recreation. A full playing programme is organised, catering for all skill levels, from beginner to experienced player. Coaching is available. Open days are organised for the public to join "taster" sessions. All equipment is provided free.

Providing support to families in the locality who may be struggling, going through crisis or transitions, to promote positive outcomes for the children and their parents. This is achieved through the provision of peer to peer mentoring family support and parenting education and support groups,

Fundraising activities include but not exhausted to yearly pub quiz, termly bake sales and collections during plays, dressing up days by the children, photos and Christmas cards.

This Charity offers ongoing activities to cater to the residents in the community. Some of the activities include twice weekly church services. It is actively involved in the community and offers ongoing pastoral care for people of all ages. It offers a weekly outreach programme within Bexleyhealth and the surrounding area. As well as a regular Gospel concert programme for the whole community.

Kentish Opera's purpose is to educate the public in the operatic arts to further the development of public appreciation and taste in said arts. To do so, we perform opera and operetta in English in traditional productions with professional soloists and professional orchestra. In 2022/23 we performed Yeomen of the Guard and presented a Gala opera event.

We are a self help organisation offering members a chance to meet others and to use or increase their knowledge, skills and experience through a variety of opportunities. We have over 80 different study groups such as art, computers, local studies, theatre, travel, keep fit all run by the members for the members.

Since 1998Advocacy First helps thousands of people from all walks of life. Our service is free and confidential We provide confidential advocacy for patients in hospital, empowering them to leave hospital to a location and way living of their choice. We bridge the gaps in service for patients and work together with other organisations in the area. We listen to clients issues and work for them.

Rescuing and re-homing cats. Help with neutering cats, dogs and other small animals. Helping people in need with veterinary bills.
