Chilterns Area Quaker Meeting is part of the organisational structure of the Religious Society of Friends in Britain. It is the primary organisational unit for church affairs in the Chilterns; provides public worship at 7 local Quaker meetings; owns and maintains 6 meeting houses; oversees the spiritual and pastoral life of the Quaker community; and organises Quaker work, witness and outreach.

The Downley After School Club is an OFSTED Registered Child care provider which has been in operation since April 2003. It is an independent non-profit making organisation run by a voluntary management committe. The club provides much needed after school care for children at the Downley School with working parents.

The charity additionally seeks to actively promote the well being of families affected by separation or divorce by providing

a) The provision of regular public acts of worship open to members of the church and non members alike.b) The teaching of Christianity through sermons, courses and small groups.c) Pastoral work including visiting the sick and bereaved.d) Taking religious assemblies in local schools.e) Promoting Christianity through events and services.

To provide benefits for Aylesbury Grammar School as may be determined from time to time by the Trustees, as detailed in the Foundation's Scheme number 42842 dated 24 March 1960 and subsequent variations thereto. This includes support in relation to prizes, infrastructure and non-core curriculum activities.

To advance the education of the pupils at Dr Challoner's Grammar School by providing and assisting in the provision of facilities for education at the school , not normally provided by the LEA.

The charitable purpose is connected with the promotion of vocational, higher, further and university education and research for the benefit of persons living in Stokenchurch or the surrounding area of Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire.

We have been providing the following services to Muslims and their neighbours in the Runnymede area.Imams to lead Jumuah and ?Eid prayers.Hot meals for iftar during Ramadan, for students and families.Speakers on Islam to schools, workplaces and university.Mosque tours for all age groups & special interest needsOpen Days to the general public.We aim to build a Masjid/Community Centre.

We provide sessional Early Years Foundation Stage daycare to children aged 2 to 4 years.

PREVENTING HOMELESSNESS IN THE BUCKINGHAMSHIRE COUNCIL AREA. SERVICES INCLUDE: GIVING A GUARANTEE TO LANDLORDS (AS AN ALTERNATIVE TO THE CASH DEPOSIT NORMALLY REQUIRED); LIAISING BETWEEN LANDLORD, TENANT AND BENEFIT AGENCIES TO SUSTAIN TENANCIES; AND GIVING FREE ADVICE ON HOUSING-RELATED MATTERS.
