The object of the CIO is the provision and maintenance of The Anthony Hall as a community venue for the use of the inhabitants of the Parish of Aston Clinton and the surrounding parishes without distinction of political, religious or other opinions, including use for:(a) Meetings, lectures & classes;(b) Forms of recreation, celebrations & leisure-time activities(c) A venue for pre-school

The society works to advance education of the public in research into family history and genealogy, primarily but not exclusively within the boundaries of the pre-1974 Royal County of Berkshire; including Abingdon and the Vale of the White Horse. SMVCA currently administer the village hall facility, providing local groups, organisations and individuals with a facility to hold their meetings, classes or events. We also organise social events for the benefit of all parishioners and the surrounding area.

Organisation and management of an annual festival of the arts in three sections, music,dance and speech & drama. The festival offers both competitive and non-competitive classes principally designed to encourage children and young people to perform, thus furthering their interest and education in the arts. In addition the festival may support a gala concert in which selected participants perform.

The objects of the Charity are to advance the education of children and young persons attending Thornton College, in particular by providing and assisting with the provision of books, equipment, buildings and other items and facilities at the College which would not otherwise be provided.

NTC school De Droomtorens provides classes in Dutch language and culture to children in Oxfordshire and surrounding counties.

Members study and record the plants, birds, insects and other wildlife, and their habitats, in the London area, through field meetings, talks, and publications. The general public is welcome at all events. Grants are available to support research and the conservation of biodiversity.

We are a community choral society. We rehearse choral works composed between 1600 and the present day, mainly of classical repertoire, and perform them to the general public in high quality concerts with professional soloists, instrumentalists and orchestras. We also undertake training sessions and fund-raising activities such as singing at weddings and carol singing.
