This Charity makes grants to individuals who reside in the Parishes of Calverton, Maids Moreton, Nash, Beachampton and Whaddon.

We perform staged opera productions and concerts to a high standard. We aim to widen access to opera across the community and to promote it as a valuable and relevant performance art. We encourage and promote community participation in our activities, through professionally delivered rehearsals and dedicated youth classes.

As a long-established Women's Institute with our own hall we can provide a wide range of opportunities for our members to learn new skills or follow established interests in all or any of the following activities: Art, craft, drama, indoor bowls, badminton, croquet, country dancing, table tennis, scrabble. Local Community Groups have use of our hall in evenings and at week-ends.

Another successful year as we re-build our repertoire and bring new members up to speed. In September we joined another chorus and a quartet on stage to entertain a sell-out audience. Shortly afterwards we hosted a Time to Harmonise course introducing a number of people to the enjoyment and benefits of singing in four-part close harmony. Some have auditioned and joined the chorus.

The Village Hall Management Committee oversees the running of the Aspley Guise Village Hall for the benefit of local residents and community support organisations. These include the WI, Cubs, Age UK Day Care and a mother & toddler playgroup, leisure activities including children and adult dance classes, amateur dramatic productions, choir rehearsals, various arts and local interest societies.

The Lions Club of Henley on Thames (CIO) exists to serve our local community and those in need in the wider world, through the Lions Club International Foundation, by providing support and financial assistance. The members also foster good governance, citizenship and friendship by participating in various fundraising activities, which will benefit the local community.

The Children's Memorial Garden is an organisation designed to help families who have lost or have a missing child. A peaceful garden and a beautiful orchard is offered for reflection and remembrance, helping them cope with their loss.Some field space is allocated to food production for distribution by local charities and food banks.

The charity raises funds for Aston Clinton School. Funds are used for equipment and children's activities such as laptops, ipads etc.

The Centre is provided for the benefit of the whole community, with a focus on young people, without distinction of sex, race, political or religious opinions. It offers facilities for recreation, entertainment, education, art, culture, conservation, animal welfare and local information and is self funded through rental and fund raising activities. It complements the other local facilities.
