Beneficiaries should live in the Chesham area, have low income and experience ill health or disability, individually or within the family. Grants are awarded through third party referrals from local agencies e.g. Citizens Advice, Social Services, Childrens Centres. We help vulnerable clients with a wide range of urgent essential needs and provide most requests within 24 hours.

PROVISION OF ENTERTAINMENT AND MUSICAL TRAINING

The staging of non-professional productions and concerts.

The Berkshire Chamber Music Festival is a series of concerts, workshops and educational days in June each year. The festival aims to bring world class classical music to the area with particular focus on reaching those who might not otherwise have the opportunity to experience it.

The Charity organises fundraising events to raise funds to further the education of pupils attending Hazlemere Church of England school.

To organise a wide range of Scout, Cub and Beaver Activities for young people inBeaconsfield

Chepstow Community Centre (MK) is a facility for the local community, enabling education and care of pre-school children, a meeting place for local older people, a building holding regular groups including - arts, crafts, physical education (dance, yoga), and a hall that can be booked for parties and family events

Village Hall for community use by local residents and businesses, i.e. health and fitness classes, martial arts training, local events, children's parties, musical evenings, Women's Institute, meetings for clubs, etc. Also used by council for polling centre.

The trust supports both the - National and international goals of Rotary-through the Rotary Foundation and other Rotary initiatives,including for the specific needs of the local community through local charities and organizations.

To help and educate young people between the ages of 7 - 18 who live in Burnham, Buckinghamshire and the surrounding area through their leisure time and activities to develop their physical, mental and spiritual capacities so that they may grow to full maturity as individuals and members of society .

EDUCATION,TRAINING,SPORT AND RECREATION OF VILLAGE RESIDENTS

Enrichment of learning through school visits, visiting professionals i.e. theatre companies, musicians, etc. and book fairs.Fund raising to promote the above.

Providing Education for those persons in the third age of their lives

Developing effective relationships between the staff parents and others associated with the school.Engaging in activities or providing facilities or equipment which support the school and advance the education of the pupils.

Management and maintenance of a village hall for community use of local residents and others, including recreational use, meetings, social activities, promotion of health and educational activities, activities for children, activities for the aged etc

Provide facilities for the running of a Nursery, Sunday School, Church activities, Ballet Classes and other village interests.

THE CHARITY SEEKS TO PROMOTE A KNOWLEDGE OF CERAMICS, TO SUPPORT THOSE IN PRACTICE AND ENCOURAGE OTHERS TO OBTAIN SKILLS IN THIS CRAFT AT A TIME WHEN FUNDING FOR FOR CERAMIC EDUCATION IS IN DECLINE. TO THIS END IT PUBLISHES A NEWSLETTER , HOLDS LECTURE DEMONSTRATIONS AND PARTICIPATES IN IN EVENTS WHERE THE PUBLIC ARE INVITED TO TRY THEIR HAND AT MAKING POTS ON THE WHEEL.

We hold in trust a place for public worship, religious Christian education, lectures, meetings and activities of the United Pentecostal Church of High Wycombe.

A weekly meeting for older members in our community. For some this provides the only quality face-to-face interaction they have in a typical week. We provide a hot two-course lunch, and entertainment that varies between bingo sessions, armchair yoga, and guest entertainers. For those who can't get to a meeting independently, we offer a minibus service, which we can also use for day trips.

Charity owns land which is used as recreation for the public classed as a Recreation ground, helps support financial maintenance. Taken on new asset of building transferred from Woburn Sands Youth Club.
