Promote and encourage a) the public study of family history b) the preservation of archival material c) educational activities. Hold lectures, discussions and exhibitions and to organise educational and research visits. Transcribe and where possible publish relevant material. Engage in collaborative actions with similar societies and with established bodies.

We rescue & rehabilitate exotic animals (as well as some domestic species), we also educate & support exotic animal keepers. We provide educational encounters for schools, universities & veterinary professionals & we provide pets as therapy for a wide variety of establishments.

Scouting

To foster within the community an interest in the scout and guide movement.

Fortnightly meetings with visiting speakers. 38 different groups covering all subjects both educational and social.

VILLAGE HALL

Village Hall for the use of residents and local clubs for various activities.Used by all ages

The charity exists to finance the Deanway United Church. This Church provides the local community with spiritual and pastoral guidance, and a place of worship. The Church performs baptisms, weddings and funerals for the community. The church also runs a number of social and educational groups.

Share information and raise awareness and carry out training programmes involved in clinical, health and/or social care; supporting clinical, health and/or social care staff and research including making grants; work with industry, charities, universities, the health service and any other relevant bodies to assist the progress of scientific discoveries, clinical breakthroughs and new technologies.

Raise finance to contribute to schools needs

Bledlow Ridge Fund supports the work of Bledlow Ridge School in Buckinghamshire. Ofsted reports: "Bledlow Ridge is an outstanding school. The excellent curriculum, the high quality of care, guidance and support and pupils high personal motivation are at the heart of the pupils success."The Fund allows us to provide goods and services beyond the range afforded by Government funding.

Grant making Trust

The charity runs summer camps for all ages to experience a simple life living as a Quaker community.

Art Beyond Belief works to challenge preconceptions, especially with regard to faith, health, diversity and social disadvantage. We aim to empower people to be more self-confident, make better decisions, and take control of their lives and futures. We do this through the development and delivery of innovative and inspirational computer and arts-based projects, and through training.

FFHL was formed to take over the running of Flackwell Heath village library, from Buckinghamshire County Council who continue to provide: books, library IT, book issuing, reservation and administration systems. FFHL volunteers are responsible for operating and managing the library, and also carry out fundraising to improve services and make the library a stronger part of the village community.

MISW is for the public benefit, the preservation & protection of good health among men in Winslow & surrounding areas, including those who are retired, unemployed or have health problems, through the provision of facilities for hobbies, recreation or other leisure time activities including practical interests, skills sharing, learning new skills & helping with community based projects.

We aim to prevent people from becoming socially excluded; to provide facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation and leisure time occupation with the objective of improving conditions of life; to promote physical and mental health by the provision of better access to services; and to provide access to affordable community based transport services.

Friends of the Royal Latin School (FRLS) take pride in the fact that we're at the heart of The Royal Latin School.Our focus for new parents is on enhancing the bond between them and their child's new school.We fundraise by providing refreshments at school events, organise our own events and work alongside the school development team.
