RAISING FUNDS FOR SCHOOL BY SUMMER & WINTER FAYRES, BINGO AND OTHER FUNDRAISING EVENTS AND ACTIVITIES

The CrossLinks Centre operates to promote, for the Public Benefit, urban and rural regeneration in areas of Social and Economic deprivation, by all or any of the ways included in the objects of the Charity.These activities now include a Lunch Club, Disabled Club, Special Needs Group a Mother and Toddler Group Chair Exercises for Seniors and other related assistance to local residents

To advance the education of pupils at Whaddon School in particular by:1) developing effective relationships between staff, parents and others associated with the school;2) engaging in activities or providing facilities or equipment, which support the school and advance the education of the pupils (not normally provided by the local education authority).

The 1st Great Missenden Scout Group is a non profit making charitable organisation whichworks for and with the young people in the community, encouraging them to achieve their fullphysical, intellectual, social and spiritual potential as individuals, responsible citizens andmembers of their community.

Fundraising for school projects and events

We are a school PTA. We hold bake sales, discos, summer fete's, Easter egg hunts all to raise money for the school.

Risborough Youth Club is open for young people aged 11-17.We provide a fun, safe environment which enables us to offer a varied programme of activities for young people to engage and participate in. We offer sports & recreation, arts & media, advice & guidance and informal education of current issues affecting young people.

Opera Integra provides performing experience to amateur and aspiring professional singers. It caters for those who want the challenges of operatic roles and for those who enjoy the challenge of opera choruses. Performances are staged and normally sung in English to facilitate the enjoyment of opera by the general public. Concerts of operatic excerpts in the original language are also arranged.

Work with local schools. Organise events for the elderly. Raise money for local, national, and overseas charities. Help organise local festival.

The Well's Projects: The Meeting Place - creating a caring and social meeting space for the local community with arts and crafts, needlework, games, crosswords, outings, and celebrations for all ages with tea, coffee and homemade cakes available; Wake-up-Wednesday - providing bacon rolls, pastries and hot chocolate for secondary school pupils on their way to school. The preservation for the benefit of the public of all the natural aspects and features of the ancient Ridgeway trackways in Southern England, including The Ridgeway National Trail, and its extensions and associated features, and the provision of relevant recreational and educational facilities and events relating thereto.

The advancement of education, and in particular the education of older people and those who are retired from full time work, by all means including associated activities conducive to learning and personal development, in Bourne End & its surrounding locality.

Fund raising by membership subscriptions, donations, social events and the receipt of legacies. Working through a Volunteer Committee to consider funding Bids from Hospital service providers for specialist equipment which will augment the volume of treatments available to the local community and enhance the patient experience.
