Fundraising to assist PCC maintain its Church and Churchyard

The charity has taken a lease of the former Church Room in Aston Abbotts, and now runs it as the Village Hall. The hall has since been fully refurbished and is available for hire to villagers and those from surrounding communities.

The charity's activities were the raising of funds for the construction, on the grounds of The National Society for Epilepsy's head quarters in Chalfont St Peter, Gerrards Cross, Buckinghamshire of a 470sq metre accommodation block for people suffering with epilepsy whom otherwise may be required to leave the centre due to lack of suitable accommodation to meet their special and complex needs.

Watching brief on all local authority planning applications and comment where appropriate. Monthly meetings for members between Sept & May. Quarterley magazine. Annual outings. Encourage good design & aesthetics and streetcapes in the town.

The Burnham (Afternoon) Townswomens Guild is a branch of the National Townswomens Group. We are a group of about 70 women who meet monthly for companionship, to listen to speakers and interact with our local community.

School fundraising activities and parental donations to provide funds to augment local authority to provide an enhanced educational experience for the pupils of Chartridge School, and to further the charitiable activities of the school.

Our main activities are as a choir performing choral music both in concerts in the Aylesbury area and also in travelling to cathedrals and singing for the services when the normal cathedral choir are away. We often perform new music by young musicians who we have contact with.

Provides charitable transport services and assists in the promotion of education to the residents of Penn and Tylers Green.

AGMK provides a number of activities for Ghanaians living in Milton Keynes and the surrounding areas. Some of the activities include the Annual Independence Fundraising Dinner Dance in March of each year, a trip to the Seaside in the summer, a number of health and wellbeing talks and presentations by experts in those field. Other activities are usually posted on our social media websites.

Paros aims to provide a safety net for individuals within the District of High Wycombe, who have fallen on a difficult moment and have a sudden financial need they are unable to fulfill themselves. Paros will grant money in monthly installments to successful applicants according to their need, for a fixed and pre-agreed period of time.

PROJECT STREET LIFE, BUCKINGHAM PROVIDES FACILITIES IN PREMISES WHERE YOUNG PEOPLE CAN PARTICIPATE IN ACTIVITIES FOR ONE AFTERNOON A WEEK. WE ARE HERE TO ASSIST YOUNG PEOPLE FROM BUCKINGHAM AND SURROUNDING VILLAGES, TO IMPROVE THEIR CONDITIONS OF LIFE, PARTICULARLY IN THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES FOR LEISURE-TIME OCCUPATION IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE.

Annual school camp for some 100-200 children (primary school age).

To provide opportunities to learn sing perform music in the area particularly to encourage the elderly to participate

We are a girls marching band and aim to encourage children from all walks of life to learn and enjoy marching music at the same time entertaining and giving enjoyment to others.

We have fully trained observers (for both cars and motorbikes) in the Aylesbury Vale area who can offer one to one guidance leading to the nationally recognised IAM advanced driving test in the Aylesbury Vale area. We promote Road Safety and better driving through publicity, events and education.
