Activities for school children at The Downley School

To manage a library and community information centre. The area is no longer served by a mobile library. Without our volunteers we would lose our library, which is really valued by older members and families. Refreshments are always available. Usually, the Parish Clerk is available once a week for people to seek advice, and we host a Lego Club once a month and a knitting group twice a month.

Supports children & adults with speech, language & communication difficulties by purchasing equipment & resources. Such difficulties could be due to a wide range of medical conditions and include understanding & expressing language, physical articulation, swallowing problems & stammering. Fundraising include wide range of social events organised by Cttee of patients, volunteers & therapists

To provide support for existing and retired members of South Central Ambulance Service (Incorporating Hampshire Ambulance Service) Benevolent Fund when a need arises.

Bucks Uniformed Youth is an umbrella Charitable Incorporated Organisation with 19 voluntary member youth organisations operating in Buckinghamshire and Milton Keynes. It collectively currently has over 13, 975 young people and 3,391 adults in its membership. By working together as part of Bucks Uniformed Youth its member organisations can achieve much more than they would independently.

This was set up to provide grants for suitable youth work and activities in an area within, say, 25 MILE RADIUS OF gERRARDS cROSS AND IN bUCKINGHAMSHIRE

Hanslope Community Orchard grows heritage fruit trees for the community to enjoy behind the village hall.We are a group of like minded residents of Hanslope village, looking to reclaim and re-introduce heritage fruit trees in a non-cultivated corner of a local farmer's field. Our long-term aim is for the orchard to be a recreational, inclusive space for all village residents; harvesting fruits,

The Inner Wheel Club of High Wycombe, holds events eg. coffee mornings, bring & buy sales, book sales, special lunches, to raise funds for donation to local charities, good causes and individuals.

The charity helps with full-time courses of further and Higher education ,research and travel scholarships and bursaries for local applicants between the ages of 16 and 25

The charity provides support and information for both Ukrainian refugees and their host families by way of meetings and online information. Activities are facilitated to ensure Ukrainians can settle in the UK such as English lessons and the opportunities for English conversation. Ukrainians are assisted to establish their own means of providing for their families through work.

Provision of facilities at Speen Scout Hut

We are a Village Hall providing accomodation and facilities for the people of Speen.

Makes small grants to elderly residents at or around Christmas and to other deserving applicants at any time in the historic parish of Bradwell according to its pre-1919 boundary.

We make donations and grants to applications generally from Aylesbury and the surrounding areas. We raise funds through can collections, providing BBQs in support of local community and charity events. We have supported Hearing Dogs, Florence Nightingale Hospice, SeeAbilty, Christmas food parcels for the disadvantaged elderly, Young Carers, Women's Aid and several more.
