Disability Help Me (DHM) is a charity which enables people with disabilities, health, economic and social needs in UK & Africa especially E.Africa to achieve more from life and encourages others to change negative perception towards disabilities. DHM's services include education and facilitation, provision of accommodation and household facilities, health support & general charitable purposes.

The charity?s activities are aimed at the local community on the shore of LakeTanganyika in Burundi. It provides and teaching them to look after livestock e.g. breed pigs and cows; to plant trees and shrubs to reverse the process of the land becoming desert as well as the advancement of education by providing sponsorship money so that young people can go to school.

The advancement of health, saving of lives and relief of suffering from surgical conditions, through advocacy for surgeons at the WHO and the UN, through supporting surgical education, research and care worldwide, and to help implement WHO resolutions and programmes with its members, especially in underserved communities.

We work mainly in Sub-Sahara Africa focusing on poverty relief and prevention, promotion of religious and racial harmony and the conservation, protection and improvement of the physical and natural environment. We work mainly in partnership with local NGOs and our activities include grant funding, education and training programmes

1)To advance the religion of Islam by enlightening others mainly through distributing copies of the Quran (including translations to other languages). 2)By distributing the Manzoom Tarjuman Quran, a direct translation of the Quran in the language Urdu in poetry style. It is not simply a translation of the Quran, but is written in a poetry format without adding certain words to translate the Quran.

We collect used Prosthetic Limbs that can not be reused in this country, they are sorted, stripped and sanitised in readiness to be shipped to disadvantaged countries that have a need for used prostheses and their component parts.
