SCOUTING

The objectives of the company are the prevention and relief of poverty or financial hardship by providing grants or loans to individuals in need and/or charities or other organisations working to prevent or relieve poverty or financial hardship.

The charity seeks to raise funds for Holcombe Brook Primary school in order to improve the welfare and education of its pupils. Fund raising events, ranging from biannual fairs, school discos, cinema and wine tasting events are held for this aim.

Through constructive dialogue, engagement, and collaboration with local organisations, faith groups, and stakeholders, we endeavour to promote knowledge, respect, and cooperation among diverse communities, bridging cultural and religious divides for a united and inclusive Greater Manchester.

Holds the collection of XX The Lancashire Fusiliers and The Royal Regiment of Fusiliers for displaying to the public in the recently restored Fusilier Museum, Moss St Bury.

Our Friends of TPS works with our school, parents, pupils and the local community to put on a range of events and activities to raise money. These events help to build the school community as we involve many local businesses. We use our funds to purchase good and service to help advance the education of pupils at our school.

RELIGIOUS ACTIVITY

Provides activities, events and premises for the benefit of local residents. The activities we run include but are not limited to Heath and Fitness, Family socialisation, inter-organisation projects, Support and Advice.

Runs Manchester's first Multifaith Centre, Interfaith Dialogues on current issues as part of a series 'What Faith Says About ...', Women of Faith programme, In Your Faith - a young people's awareness project in schools, colleges and youth groups, Peace Malas, Festive Interfaith parties and community engagement and representation at various levels, including with decision makers.

SUPPORT ORGANISATION FOR THE STAFF, PUPILS, AND ACTIVITIES OF BURY MUSIC CENTRE.RAISING FUNDS TO PURCHASE NEW INSTRUMENTS, AND TO PROVIDE LOANS TO PARENTS TO ASSIST THEM TO PURCHASE INSTRUMENTS.ASSIST WITH ORGANISING CONCERTS FOR VARIOUS BANDS AND ORCHESTRAS COACHED BY THE BURY MUSIC CENTRE.

The provision and running of a permanent scout hut for the use of and activities of scouts, cubs and beavers.

General Fundraising events - Summer Fair, Christmas Fair, Raffles, Discos etc to raise funds to enhance the children's education and experience.

Camping and Outdoor Adventures

A road safety promotion organisation by delivering Advanced Riding Advice as part of the Institute of Advanced Motorists. A team of volunteer Observers offer one-to-one riding skills advice to prepare candidates for their IAM test.

Free Loan Fund

Providing worship and teaching according to the doctrine and principles of the Free Church of England;Providing pastoral ministry to the surrounding community

Raising monies for the general good of Bury and those ticked in boxes 201-207.

Old Hall PTA raise funds for the benefit of the pupils and families attending Old Hall Primary School, Bury.

Our activities are the provision of daily drop in advice and information services on, heath welfare benefit, housing,social services, racial harassment, domestic violence mentoring, carrying for older peoples and counselling, outreach work in visiting detainees, dissemination of information ,provision of supplementary education and we provided a cultural and social event, seminars, workshops

To treat injured hedgehogs and wherever possible release them back into the wild. To care for those hedgehogs that cannot be released.To educate both children and adults about hedgehogs and their environment.

The advancement of the Christian Religion by the proclamation and furtherance of the Good News of God concerning His Son Jesus Christ the Lord and the preaching and teaching of the Bible, the Word of God Such other charitable purposes as shall further the attainment of the above objects of the Church or as laid down in the Bible.

We are a group of parent volunteers organising fundraising events and applying for small grants for the children who attend Christ Church Primary to enrich the children's education and school life. Organised Events include school disco's held in school or at a local community venue, summer and Christmas fairs, sponsored activities, raffles, quiz and bingo evenings.
