Platform 1 is a mental health charity based in the heart of Huddersfield, offering support throughout the county. We work with people with complex needs, of all ages and from all backgrounds and experiences. We encourage recovery through counselling and supportive activities, allowing reconnection at individuals own pace and within a safe, non-judgmental environment.

Watershed Workshops activities include- providing a high quality, accessible participatory and disabled arts base- enhancing professional development through the arts- supporting, promoting and providing training, volunteering and placement opportunities in the arts- providing a sustainable work base for participatory arts

We provide social sessions for older people, adults, carers and the person they care for across Calderdale at 3 weekly sessions. We provide a 2 course meal, activities to promote physical and mental wellbeing, entertainment, refreshments and days out with transport for those who need it, in a safe community space with a great team of volunteers

Hope4Humanity provides relief around the world with activities to tackle poverty. Programmes to provide; shelter, healthcare, food, clothing and delivering emergency response to those in need.

Finds ways of explaining Quakerism to the wider public through outreach events and arts activities. Holds 4 general open meetings to discuss topics of current interest and exercise responsibilities. Provides learning holidays for children & young people. Offers grants for meeting house repairs and extensions and helping individual Quakers in need.Administers linked Rawdon Friends School Trust.

Food for Families was created to use surplus food from food supermarkets and stores, and use this to cook meals for local families who are struggling with food poverty. We also provide Emergency Food Bags, and provide FREE food at a local Charity Hub. Food for Families also has a cooking project called Let's Cook! to help families to learn to cook on a budget

Advancement of the Islamic Faith for the public benefit

Provides out-of-school-hours activities for school age children, e.g. Chinese Language lessons (both Mandarin and Cantonese), Chinese Dance, Calligraphy, Crafts, etc, in Leeds and Districts. We also provide Chinese language lessons for adults and promote Chinese culture amongst local community.

The charity is established for the proclamation and furtherance of the Christian gospel, in accordance with the 'Doctrinal basis of Belief' contained within its trust deed.

Wainsgate Chapel is a former Baptist chapel hidden away down a quiet track on a hillside just outside Hebden Bridge in the South Pennines of West Yorkshire. The historic Grade II listed building has a thriving international arts programme with regular concerts, dance performances, open studios, workshops and residencies, as well as other events including exhibitions, markets and heritage events.

Yorkshire Mediation Services provides mediation and conflict resolution services across Yorkshire and Humberside. Our core work is neighbour dispute mediation but we also carry out workplace mediation, peer mediation and training in communication and conflict handling skills.

Residential summer camp for children aged 9 -12 based in West Yorkshire and open to children across the region and beyond.. Also works with young people and vulnerable adults.

The charity maintains the traditions of brass band music and seeks to develop, promote and improve the art and science of the music in all its aspects to people of all ages.The charity aims to advance the education of children and young people in particular to appreciate, learn andparticipate in brass band music making.

The object of the Society shall be to promote, improve, develop and maintain public education in, and appreciation of, the art and science of choral and instrumental music in all its aspects by the presentation of public concerts; and for the general purposes of such charitable bodies or for such purposes as shall be exclusively charitable as the Committee may from time to time decide

The principal activity throughout the year under review was that of the advancement of the Christian Faith. This was achieved through the following:-1. Weekly church meetings on a Sunday morning and evening2. Monthly ladies meetings 2. Bible studies and prayer 3. Fellowship meetings on a Thursday forwomen4. Christian Youth Camps were attended.5. Prayer meetings during the week

(For the purposes of this clause "facilities" means land, buildings, equipment, access to coaching and organising sporting activities).

SUPPORT FOR THE NEEDY PEOPLE OF TODMORDEN

The Charitable Incorporated Organisation offers grants to a wide variety of charities working in the local community. Funding is given exclusively to charities based in Yorkshire and directly benefitting only Yorkshire communities. Priority is given to charities working at the heart of communities to tackle disadvantage and to provide sustainable benefit to the community.

The object of the charity is to promote, maintain, improve and advance education by the encouragement of the arts including, without limitation, the arts of drama, mime, dance, singing and music.

The promotion of the ecclesiastical parish of St George's, Ovenden in North Halifax involving the whole mission of the church - pastoral, evangelical, social and ecumenical. Management and development of youth/community and outreach work within the parish and beyond. Also the maintenance responsibilities for St George's Church and graveyard, Church Hall and St George's House and grounds.

We are a Church who gathers together to worship God, preach the word of God, and reach out into the community around us with the love of God.

Church services every Sunday, and Wednesday Testimony Meetings every 1st Wednesday of the month.
