BRADFORD NIGHTSTOP PROVIDES EMERGENCY ACCOMMODATION ONE NIGHT AT A TIME FOR YOUNG PEOPLE AGED 16-25

The Charity acts as a resource body providing funds to build homes for abandoned, destitute and orphaned children in India. Additionally, the Charity, also, provides funds to run and maintain the homes it builds in India.

We engage with service providers and commissioners, mainly in local authority, health and transport sectors. By involving significant numbers of disabled people, we can have a big impact on decision makers. By using this model, disabled people are empowered and can influence policy and service delivery.

To promote, maintain, improve and advance education, particularly by the production of educational plays and the encouragement of the arts, including the art of drama. mime, dance, singing and music.

We promote education, social welfare and leisure time activities for the benefit of the inhabitants of the Elland area with emphasis on those between ages of 11 and 21. We do this in association with local inhabitants, local authorities and local voluntary and other organisations.

Serving residents from Rastrick and Brighouse since 1913, St Johns provides an active community space for many activities and a vibrant Christian presence at the heart of our local community. We have a diverse congregation, with people of all ages, families of different shapes and sizes, and single people too. Our worship is varied, embracing old and new, formal and informal.

An educational charity for women, giving women of all ages, denomination & ethnicity the opportunity or working & learning together to improve the quality of life in their community & to enable them to develop their own skills & talents.

Management of 16 dwellings for people over 60 and in need.

The Ark Church meets for worship and Christian teaching. We run Life Groups, where people meet to share life experiences and the "HOWs" and "WHYs" of applying God's teachings to everyday issues. We reach out to the local community to share the good news of Jesus Christ and provide Parent and Toddler groups and other practical needs. We are currently planting a new church in Halifax.

Provides Playgroup and Nursery education to children between the ages of two and five.

Provides facilities and opportunities for children aged between 5 and 18 to take part in playing football and associated training and development of individual and team skills. In addition the club provides training and education for adults in line with the Football Association Governing Body guidelines for teaching children.
