RELIEVE POVERTY AND SICKNESS, PARTICULARLY FOR CHILDREN.

The advancement of health or saving of lives, the general public/mankind, provides services, religious activities, the prevention or relief of poverty, general charitable purposes, provides advocacy/advice/information.

Supporting smallholder fish farming activities (marine and freshwater, fish, shellfish and plants) together with assisting their growth and development by co-operative and other structures. Providing technological input covering all areas of aquaculture and assisting the education and development of resource poor fish farmers and their organisations and structures both in country and remotely.

BEGAP works with communities in underprivileged areas, supporting their endeavours to improve their education and health services. We raise funds which are channelled for activities run on the ground by the communities themselves, and provide further consultation on those activities. We also train individuals who are heavily involved in the activities that BEGAP supports.

The advancement of heritage and culture for the public benefit by working with socially and economically disadvantaged communities living in the immediate area of sites of historical or architectural interest, educative value or artistic merit with the principle aim of raising awareness of the heritage and cultural value of such sites, locally and internationally among such communities.

We provide weekly worship & communion services alongside activities of outreach, community pastoral care, fellowship, Bible study, ministry, prayer--all this to see people's lives transformed by the love and power of Jesus Christ. The River Bible Academy equips believers in their faith & to develop their God-given ministry gifts in answering God's call to go into all the world, all areas of life.

Rather than support established 'causes', many of which are already well resourced, we support people in real, but often short-term need who are not able to access help from others. We aim to make a real difference to the lives of ordinary people who miss out on the help they deserve. We believe one answer lies in working alongside individuals who are already 'in touch' with people's real needs.

1)To advance the religion of Islam by enlightening others mainly through distributing copies of the Quran (including translations to other languages). 2)By distributing the Manzoom Tarjuman Quran, a direct translation of the Quran in the language Urdu in poetry style. It is not simply a translation of the Quran, but is written in a poetry format without adding certain words to translate the Quran.

We believe every child deserves the right to grow up safe from abuse, exploitation and trafficking.We raise funds and work on projects to support children and young in the North West of England, as well as Cambodia, whose vulnerabilities, risks of exploitation and potential for abuse have striking similarities.Further information about our current projects is available on our website.

The advancement of public education in accountancy and related commercial subjects.Relief in cases of need, hardship or distress of Fellows, Associates or registered Students of AIA and their wives, children and other dependents through grants.

The charity will undertake to use any income to relieve cases of need, hardship or distress for the inhabitants of Chher Teal, Kompong Seima, Ksach Poy, Chrab Krasaing villages in Wat Kor Commune, Battambang District, Battambang Province, and other areas of Cambodia who by reason of their social and economic conditions are in need of assistance.

Relief of Poverty Tanzania - Through musical recordings and stories a collaboration with the Gogo people has helped build a water well and community medical dispensary.Homes for Cambodian street children - another collaboration with the Khmer people is in progress, this time using musical recordings and traditional dance videos in order to help towards building a community home and art's centre.

The Fund assists with projects, mostly educational, in poor countries. It has, for example, helped with the education of poor boys in Kenya and in India and sponsored the well-being and education of poor children in Asia, South America and Africa. It has also granted funds to assist the building of a new school in Kenya.

Grant making

FEW have sent containers to thirteen different countries full of surplus educational school furniture , playgrounds to some of the most desperate children in the world a better chance of an education. FEW have sent fire engines and in conjunction UNISON sent ambulances to the Gambia. FEW have been involved sinking bore holes in Uganda and the Gambia, so that the locals have clean water to drink.

Poliphonia is an UK based charity with the purpose of promoting the classical music of the Americas. We promote concerts in the UK with repertoire from composers from the Americas, sponsor young players interested in learning this repertoire, restore music still in manuscript form to facilitate performance and produce recordings and film of performances and educational content.

The Mahseer Trust works to advance education and environmental protection and improvement by promoting sustaining and increasing knowledge and understanding of mahseer species, and skills and expertise in aquaculture, by carrying out and contributing to research, by educating and training young people in conservation, and by encouraging and assisting with international knowledge transfer.

We are a UK-based trust, working to give disadvantaged young Cambodians support, primarily using the microfinance model, for education, training or business start-up costs. We provide support to make applications including training in budgeting, opening bank accounts and money management. We also produce a booklet giving information on university courses and their costs.

MOSAIC is committed to protecting human rights and fighting human trafficking and modern slavery through partnerships, advocacy, and education. By offering support, conducting research, and providing direct services, MOSAIC enables communities to identify trafficking risks and aid survivors. MOSAIC also plans to expand outreach, address trafficking cases, and launch a multilingual website.

We collect used Prosthetic Limbs that can not be reused in this country, they are sorted, stripped and sanitised in readiness to be shipped to disadvantaged countries that have a need for used prostheses and their component parts.

The Piers Simon Appeal runs School in a Bag (SIAB) - an initiative that distributes rucksacks filled with stationery, learning resources and eating utensils to poor, orphan, vulnerable and disaster affected children around the world.SIAB runs many events including Home Farm Fest, a 3 day music festival held at the charity HQ in SomersetThe charity has 4 employees and 2 part time volunteers
