Practical community based action against poverty within the area of benefit, developing and running sustainable projects such as a foodbank as well as other projects which enable people to overcome their hardship with respect to financial means, food, clothing or shelter. These projects are run in partnership with both the local churches together with a wide variety of organisations.

1) Helping organisations and individuals from across the community to find new ways to eliminate rough sleeping due to homelessness2) Operating Street Support Cambridgeshire, a mobile friendly website giving information on ways to find help for a rough sleeper and to give help to support organisations3) Running projects with partners to provide accommodation and support to rough sleepers

The object and principal activity of the Magog Trust is to continue the resoration of it's landholding to chalk pasture open for public amenity with provision for wildlife conservation and sanctuary

We offer a wide range of free mental health services in Cambridgeshire & Peterborough to help and support our members in their wellbeing and recovery, including creative activities, recovery groups, social activities and a counselling service. We provide services to the public: a suicide bereavement support service, Lifeline, a helpline that runs everyday and other phone-based support services.

Provision of a delivered hot lunchtime meal to the elderly or infirm in Cambridgeshire who are unable to prepare meals for themselves. With each and every visit the deliverers have a duty to check with the clients that all is well and if necessary report any concerns to the CAMMs Meals on Wheels Ltd Office for further action to be taken.

Making grants towards the relief of financial hardship, education, training and for medical needs including grants to other charities and community organisations.Also providing dwellings (almshouses) and supporting the residents who live them.All above activities are limited to an area of benefit which corresponds with the LocalGovernment area administered by the City of Ely Council

The Parochial Charities activities are covered by the currently marked categories of 13a, 13b & 13c and are restricted to persons who are resident within the parish of Great Shelford in the county of Cambridgeshire.

Operates groups for adults with learning disabilities and other vulnerable individuals to socialise and make friends. Volunteers befriend individuals one-on-one or assist in Groups, offering various activities in Sudbury, Lowestoft and Haverhill. Regular group outings for meals, cinema, and bowling. Advocacy services, telephone befriending, community care farm, gardening, life skills

For the public benefit to relieve the need of persons resident in Newmarket and the surrounding areas who are 55 years or over and in need of financial support and assistance with the provision of healthcare and housing

A key aim of St Andrew's Church is to enable ordinary people to live out their faith as part of the parish community through: Worship and prayer; learning about the Gospel and developing their knowledge and trust in Jesus. Provision of pastoral care for people living in the parish. Missionary and outreach work.

CWRC provides information, support and training for women in Cambridge and surrounding areas.

The Scouting method is young people, in partnership with adults, enjoying and learning by doing; participating in varied and progessive activities; making choices for themselves; taking responsibility for their actions; working in groups; taking increasing responsibility for others; taking part in activities outdoors; sharing in prayer and workshop and finally making and living out their Promise.

On a weekly basis we go to Northampton General Hospital, BMI Three Shires- Northampton, Leicester Royal Infirmary, Kettering, Bedford, Luton & Dunstable, Nottingham City Hospital, Queens Medical Centre, Nottingham, Lincolnshire, Derbyshire, Stoke On Trent, Milton Keynes University Hospital Trust to provide free gifts & support to adult cancer patients in hospital.

Harvey Road Day Nursery (HRDN) provides care and Foundation Stage education in central Cambridge for children aged from 3months to 5 years.

The Centre for Computing History promotes, maintains, improves and advances public education in the history of computing, in particular, but not exclusively, by:1. the provision of educational demonstrations;2. the provision of an educational facility and research centre;3. the establishment and maintenance of a museum.The Centre's collection tells the story of the Information Age.

The charity supports education and research in the field of economics, business studies, systems of governance and the development of leadership, managerial and business skills. The charity's principal activity is the annual China Executive Leadership Programme which brings together the leaders of Chinese business and the chief executive officers of global companies.

We are the governing body for Association Football played with the County of Huntingdonshire.

The charity is a provider of youth work services across Cambridgeshire. This includes rural youth clubs in buildings and on our converted double-decker youth buses, a babysitting course and the Generation game course (volunteering with older people).

Helping the young, the old, the disabled and the general community in Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire and Cambridgeshire . This is done by the awarding of grants to organisations. We do not accept applications for grants from individuals or for the benefit of persons not living in this geographical catchment area.
