A key aim of St Andrew's Church is to enable ordinary people to live out their faith as part of the parish community through: Worship and prayer; learning about the Gospel and developing their knowledge and trust in Jesus. Provision of pastoral care for people living in the parish. Missionary and outreach work.

Provision of educational, training, mentoring and counselling services for those of all ages and backgrounds within the UK and abroad who have need of such facilities by reason of their social and economic circumstances and for the advancement of health and wellbeing within a framework of christian values.

CWRC provides information, support and training for women in Cambridge and surrounding areas.

Making grants towards the relief of financial hardship, education, training and for medical needs including grants to other charities and community organisations.Also providing dwellings (almshouses) and supporting the residents who live them.All above activities are limited to an area of benefit which corresponds with the LocalGovernment area administered by the City of Ely Council

The primary aim of Cambridge Sport Lakes Trust is the development of a multi-sport facility on a site on the north side of the City of Cambridge.As part of this development process the Trust also runs a programme of Sports Development Activities within the Community. From 1 April 2008 the Trust also took on the responsibility for managing Milton Country Park.

Providing sport for the local community

Provides regular public worship for all. Promotes education and learning about the Christian Faith for all ages. Gives pastoral support to those in sickness, distress or poverty. Provides nurture and activities for children and young people. Serves the community by providing premises for groups and resources for activities, including education and learning opportunities.

Peterborough Rape Crisis provide safe, confidential support services for child and adult survivors of rape, sexual abuse and sexual violence regardless of when the abuse happened. Our services include trauma informed therapeutic support and advocacy. All services are free of charge and available to survivors in Peterborough and Cambridgeshire.

THE CHARITY RUNS ITS PROGRAMME UNDER ITS MAXIM OF TRANSFORMING LIVES THROUGH ACCESS TO E-LEARNING BY PROVIDING COMPUTERS AND DIGITAL SKILLS TO SCHOOLS AND COMMUNITIES IN AFRICA AND THE UK.

We aim to provide opportunities for talented young instrumentalists and singers to perform baroque music on a professional stage and, in doing so, we aim to bring the riches of the baroque music repertoire to as wide an audience as possible and to facilitate access to this music for the disadvantaged including, but not limited to, the young.

ASPERGER EAST ANGLIA (AEA) PROVIDES A COMPREHENSIVE AND INTEGRATED SERVICE FOR CHILDREN, YOUNG PEOPLE AND ADULTS WITH ASPERGER SYNDROME (AS) AND ALL THOSE AFFECTED BY AS. AEA WORKS IN PARTNERSHIP WITH STATUTORY SERVICES AND OTHER PARTNERS TO RAISE PUBLIC AWARENESS. AEA PROVIDES SUPPORT GROUPS AND OFFERS INFORMATION AND ADVICE ON MANY ISSUES INCLUDING EDUCATION, TRAINING, BENEFITS AND EMPLOYMENT

Helping the young, the old, the disabled and the general community in Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire and Cambridgeshire . This is done by the awarding of grants to organisations. We do not accept applications for grants from individuals or for the benefit of persons not living in this geographical catchment area.

The Great Commission Ministry's main goal is to spread the gospel and see believers grow in faith. In doing so we also meet the practical needs of the community and regurarly help the poor, sick, homeless & elderly. We provide opportunities for basic training to help people be in touch with modern tecnology, and encourage members to use their natural gifts whether it be in music, dance, or drama.

To promote community participation in healthy recreation by providing or assisting in the provisionof facilities for the playing of association football and other sports capable of improving health. To promote and protect good physical and mental health by providing or assisting in the provision of sports and other activities designed to alleviate health issues or promote healthier lifestyle

The CIO undertakes activities to advance the interests of the general religious and charitable purposes of the Religious Society of Friends (Quakers) in Britain within Cambridgeshire and beyond. Income and property are used solely to further the CIOs object through initiatives that support Quaker beliefs, values and to undertake worship, as well as providing pastoral care for members and attenders

The charity promotes such charitable purposes for the benefit of the inhabitants of Haverhill as the trustee think fit, and in particular, by the provision of premises for the benefit of the public. The Charity allows Haverhill Town Council use of the Old Town Hall as an Arts Centre and Council offices. Other parts of the building are let to local charities.

PROVISION OF FACILITIES AND FUNDING FOR A ROMAN CATHOLIC CHAPLAINCY TO THE UNIVERSITY OF CAMBRIDGE

Animal welfare services, including rehoming neglected animals, low-cost animal clinic; assistance with cost of neutering domestic pets to prevent unwanted litters; emergency veterinary care for domestic birds, mammals and other animals found sick or injured; emergency assistance with cost of veterinary treatment for pet owners on low income (defined by eligibility for means-tested state benefits).

Abbeyfield An Lac Community (AAC) provides supported housing for persons of Vietnamese or Asian origin who are suffering from the disabilities of old age, or otherwise in need of care. It operates An Lac House, established in Cambridge in 1997, with 10 single en-suite rooms for residents. AAC also runs a free day centre, and organises cultural and religious events for the local community.

Project 21 is an innovative charity running activities, clubs and events for people with Down's Syndrome in the East of England. We pride ourselves on giving the Down's Syndrome Community a platform to express themselves and a voice in society. We believe our events promote confidence, independence and a wider, positive awareness of Down's Syndrome within our community.

OBJECTS: SUCH EXCLUSIVELY CHARITABLE PURPOSES IN EAST ANGLIA (PARTICULARLY CAMBRIDGESHIRE) AS THE TRUSTEES SHALL IN THEIR ABSOLUTE DISCRETION FROM TIME TO TIME DETERMINE AND MAY, BUT NEED NOT, INCLUDE:THE UPKEEP & REPAIR OF THE FABRIC AND CONTENTS OF ELY CATHEDRAL AND THE MAINTENANCE OF SERVICES THEREINTHE FURTHERANCE OF THE EDUCATION OF PUPILS ATTENDING CULFORD SCHOOL (CHARITY NO. 310486)

The service objectives of the charity are ?to relieve the sickness and distress of persons with or affected by eating disorders, to preserve and protect good health and to advance education for the public benefit by.

1) Provision of almshouses for persons in conditions of need, hardship or distress living within the City of Cambridge and its surrounding area. 2) Relief in Need funds given annually to qualified charities and institutions for the relief of poverty and the education of the young in and around the City of Cambridge.

The Society is based at the Imperial War Museum site at Duxford, where it works in partnership with the IWM. The Society has a collection of post-WW2 British Civil Aircraft, which it maintains and displays to the public.
