Comberton Baptist Church is a Christian organisation serving the people of Comberton, Cambridgeshire and surrounding villages.

Pink Rooster provides music therapy, pre-recorded music, creative arts and assistive technology to individuals and groups living with, but not exclusively, dementia and other cognitive and physical barriers.The charity operates mainly within private and public residential care homes,not for profit residential care homes, day care centres, private residences and other healthcare facilities.

We work for the public benefit having as our objective the development/education of children particularly by:1. Promoting their care/safety; 2. Promoting education & parental involvement; 3. Promoting health/well-being; 4. Providing services to support them, their families & carers; 5. Providing services to members of the CIO; 6. Furthering the Pre-school Learning Alliance aims.

We provide a building and facilities for hire for the purpose of educational, recreational, physical, social moral and intellectual development. There are 6 main areas:- main hall, lounge, kitchen, stage, further lounge with kitchen facilities, sports changing facilities and toilets, male, female and disabled individuals toilets.

We organise workshops, public demonstrations, and open access events that teach and promote the practice of traditional and contemporary craft skills.

We hold Christian church services, both regular and occasional. We offer pastoral and spiritual support. We provide indoor and outdoor space for reflection.

We provide a holistic form of early education for pre-school children with motor learning difficulties and delayed development. Parents/carers attend sessions with their children. Programmes are based on the principles of Conductive education and the Early Years Foundation Stage, designed by specialist staff to make learning fun.Service provided free of charge. Whitsers is a pre-school playgroup based in Whittlesford in Cambridgeshire.

The main purposes of the WI organisation are to advance the education of women and girls for the public benefit - to promote sustainable development - to advance health - to advance citizenship by promotion of civic responsibility and volunteering. The WI seeks to give women the opportunity of working together in their communities and developing their capacity and skills.

The Fen Edge Community Association runs Social, Arts, Cultural and Sporting activities for the benefit of the communities in the Fen Edge villages of Cottenham, Landbeach, Rampton, Waterbeach and Willingham.

THE RELIEF OF SICKNESS AND PROTECTION OF HEALTH THROUGH THE PROVISION OF A TRANSPORTATION SERVICE TO TRANSPORT BLOOD, VACCINES, HUMAN MILK, SAMPLES AND OTHER ITEMS USED FOR THE MEDICAL OR SURGICAL TREATMENT OF PATIENTS FOR DOCTORS, HOSPITALS AND LABORATORIES.

To preserve and restore historic commercial vehicles for the advancement of historical,technical and general education, including artefacts, records of historical and general interestand educational value.

to provide high quality care and education for children from 2 years 9 months to statutory school age;to work in partnership with parents to help children to learn and develop;to add to the life and well-being of the local community;to offer children and their parents a service that promotes equality and values diversity.

One-to-one support through professional memory health care workers and peer support at monthly coffee mornings for those living with dementia and their carers. Other activities include weekly tai chi sessions, art classes, singing together, and one off events or outings. Additionally monthly pub lunches and a fortnightly day club take place for those with early on-set or early stage dementia.

Leases & manages King Edward Community Centre, Chatteris. Provides accommodation for more than 30 voluntary community groups for educational, social, & recreational activities. Arranges educational, social and recreational activities for residents of Chatteris and surrounding area. Produces & distributes 4,500 copies of 12 page community newsletter.

The aims of the organisation include receiving and re-distributing surplus food (from retailers, producers and farms) to the local community of Whittlesey and the surrounding villages via our community pantry.Future plans include collecting, storing, repairing and re-distributing household items to the local community of Whittlesey and the surrounding villages (Not active at this current time)

The principal purpose of the Church is the advancement of the Christian faith according to the principles of the Baptist denomination. The Church may also advance education and carry out other charitable purposes in the United Kingdom and/or other parts of the world.
