To relieve the suffering of animals in need of care & attention primarily hedgehogs and other UK wildlife. In particular to provide and maintain rescue homes or other activities for the reception care and treatment of orphaned, injured, ill or abandoned animals, with the aim of returning any wild animals to their natural environment and any domestic to a suitable home.

TO SUPPORT THE CELEBRATION OF THE LITURGICAL OFFICES OF THE RUSSIAN ORTHODOX CHURCH AND TO PROVIDE ASSOCIATED PASTORAL AND INFORMATION SERVICES TO THOSE LIVING IN THE EAST OF ENGLAND, AT THE SAME TIME FINANCING AND MAINTAINING SUITABLE PREMISES AND FACILITIES FOR THE RUSSIAN ORTHODOX COMMUNITY IN THIS REGION.

Maintain a fully operational fire brigade under contract to Cambridgeshire Fire and Rescue Service. Members carry out their duties entirely on a voluntary basis. Members are trained in the same way and assessed in exactly the same way as whole time and On-call colleagues . We are available 24 hours a day seven days a week to answer emergency calls. We work the On-call duty system.

The preservation repair maintenance improvement upkeep and reconstruction of Churches in the County of Cambridge and or monuments fittings fixtures stained glass furniture ornamments and chattels in such Churches. The Trust's predominant activity is the award of loans and grants to churches to assist with the cost of works falling within the foregoing description.

We provide facilities and training for youth and adults to learn and improve their skills in a wide range of water sports. These include sailing, kayaking, paddle boarding, raft building and canoeing. We provide open sessions for the general public as well as a range of formal courses leading to qualifications. We regularly work with schools and youth groups.

Provide 10 Almshouses in accordance with the founders wishes and as varied by the Charity Comminssion scheme.

The Association provides horse riding as a therapy for all age groups suffering from physical or mental disabilities. On 2 days per week at their purpose built facilities at Willington, Bedfordshire.

The advancement of education and, in particular, the education of older people and those who are retired from full time work, by all means including associated activities conducive to learning and personal development, in St Neots and its surrounding locality.

The charity aims to educate the public about Antarctica and its environment by the publication of a scientific journal and by the promotion, support and dissemination of research. It also provides small grants to young scientific researchers from around the world to assist in their career development.

We work for the public benefit having as our objective the development/education of children particularly by:1. Promoting their care/safety; 2. Promoting education & parental involvement; 3.
