We support children under the age of 16 in the East of England, who are receiving treatment for a cancer at Addenbrookes Hospital. We either make a grant or purchase a special gift in order to make there journey just that little bit more tolerable. This is support for the child as well as their family.

The Trust was established in order to provide financial help for people with a learning disability and their carers. The intention is to make grants towards projects such as helping with holidays, providing equipment outright or on loan, paying for transport, paying fees for educational help etc

Providing accomodation for the elderly in Meldreth

Hold fundraising events to allow is to advance the education of pupils in the school, in particular by:Developing effective relationships between the staff, parents and others associated with the school. Engaging in activities or providing facilities or equipment which support the school and advance the education of the pupils.

We provide monies to the elderly at Xmas time

To provide a Village Hall facility for the village of Holme

EXAMPLES OF EVENTS WE HOLD ARE: QUIZ & CHIPS, FIREWORKS, SUMMER FAIR, WINE TASTING EVENT, AUCTION OF PROMISES AND CHRISTMAS MEAL, RAFFLES, PLANT SALES, CAKE SALES, LUCKY NUMBERS, FILM NIGHTS, CHRISTMAS CARDS AND TEA TOWELS. All activities are held within the school or organised via the school.

Income from allotment rents and given in Educational Grants to students in further education who live in the Parish. There is no age restrictions.

Provision of Village Hall services for the local community and wider public.

Local fundraising to provide additional facilities for Haslingfield Endowed Primary School.

School PTA

The Society's prime objective is to advance the education of the public in all types of road steam engines and associated equipment by providing practical demonstrations and displays of Traction Engines and other machinery and by supporting the production of literature dealing with both technical and historical matters relating to the construction and use of steam on the road.

To advance, improve and maintain the public appreciation of music through Concerts and recitals in the local area in support of Cantate Youth Choir and other local charities.

THE PROVISION OF HOUSING ACCOMMODATION FOR BENEFICIARIES;SUCH CHARITABLE PURPOSES FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE RESIDENTS AS THETRUSTEES DECIDE;THE PROVISION OF EXTRA-CARE ACCOMMODATION AND FACILITIES FORBENEFICIARIES, WITH A PREFERENCE FOR RESIDENTS IN THE HOMES.

Holding social events to support the community of St. Paul's C of E Primary School and fundraising events to enrich the education of the children at the school.

Provision of 4 almshouses for single ladies of reduced means, Melbourn, Cambs.

We work to promote God's message of love salvation and redemption through our church services which also addressesthe welfare of our members. For instance, we host gospel night of songs, bible teaching programmes and prayer services for the spiritual, emotional, psychosocial development of members and the provision of relief of poverty to members going through periods of difficulty

Various fundraising events held on the School grounds for children to attend. Parents and families also attend specific events during the year. We have helped to contribute towards facilities and equipment for the children on an ongoing basis.

Collecting and investing funds for the benefit of pupils at a secondary school. Making grants to support pupils of the school.

The Charity runs the Village Hall for the use of the inhabitants of the parish of Leverington in the county of Cambridgeshire without distinction of political, religious or other opinions, including use for meetings, lectures and classes or other forms of recreation and leisure time occupation with the object of improving the life of the said inhabitants.

A membership organisation that provides, for older people no longer in full time work, opportunities to share learning experiences in a wide range of interest groups.

Fetes, discos and other fund-raising activities to raise money to enrich the school environment and the children's learning. Purchases include play equipment, learning resources in addition to the basic resources covered by school budget.

Village based choir.

Promotion of lectures and study days aimed at educating the public in appreciating decorative and fine arts. Arranging visits to museums, galleries, collections and historic houses. Undertaking church recording work. Providing volunteers for heritage property guides. Giving financial aid to young arts. Contributing to national fundraising for fine art.
