The Charity was established to promote the rich and diverse history of the old county of Huntingdonshire staging a festival of history throughout the year. The Festival will provide a range of activities, e.g. re-enactment events, guided town walks, talks on historical topics, presentations, guided visits to historic buildings and children's activities, most are free to the public.

The association seeks to raise funds on behalf of the school, to advance the education and development of the pupils at Coton C of E Primary School.Proceeds of the fund raising will be used to purchase new facilities and equipment, and to maintain and refurbish existing equipment, as determined by the PTA committee, to meet the objectives of the Association.
