ACE - Friends of St Ives Corn Exchange aims to provide or assist in the provision of recreational facilities and activities for the benefit of residents of St Ives and neighbouring villages in the interests of social welfare. ACE seeks to provide volunteers to run the Corn Exchange building, and to support community groups with advice and assistance in arranging their own events and activities.

QUEEN EMMA PSFA IS A GROUP OF PARENTS, STAFF AND FRIENDS OF QUEEN EMMA PRIMARY SCHOOL, FOCUSED ON DEVELOPING A SENSE OF COMMUNITY, ORGANISING EVENTS AND RAISING FUNDS TO ENRICH THE SCHOOL ENVIRONMENT. ESTABLISHED AFTER THE SCHOOL OPENED IN SEPTEMBER 2011, OUR FOCUS HAS BEEN ON DEVELOPING A COMMUNITY AROUND THE SCHOOL AND RAISING FUNDS TO FURNISH ADDITIONAL EQUIPMENT FOR THE SCHOOL.

To encourage greater understanding of the history and character of the Hundred Parishes, an area of 450 square miles of northwest Essex, northeast Hertfordshire and southern Cambridgeshire that is characterised by its rich and diverse heritage. We hold concerts and exhibitions in the Church. We run a monthly charity market stall from March until October. We also run a monthly '100 Club' lottery.

To raise funds for Little Downham Feoffees Primary Academy School

Activities, usually held in St Clements Church, include a Christmas fayre, a variety show or concert, a sponsored bike ride, as well as occasional quiz nights. The Friends also produces a leaflet about the special features of St Clements Church; this is available to visitors.

To provide a social and recreational centre for use by the villagers and others. To help promote a community spirit in the village for young or old.

Raising awareness amongst young people of the dangers of carrying knives and other weapons by helping theatre companies put on anti-knife plays and workshops in schools and community centres, by using music and performance to promote an anti-knife message, by funding short music-based courses, by supporting debate, research and networking with families who have lost children through knife crime.

THE OBJECT OF THE ASSOCIATION (THE OBJECTS) IS TO ADVANCE THEEDUCATION OF PUPILS IN THE SCHOOL IN PARTICULAR BY: DEVELOPING EFFECTIVE RELATIONSHIPS BETWEEN THE STAFF PARENTS AND OTHERS ASSOCIATED WITH THE SCHOOL;ENGAGING IN ACTIVITIES OR PROVIDING FACILITIES OR EQUIPMENT WHICHSUPPORT THE SCHOOL AND ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUPILS.

The Poors Land Charity owns land and part of the income from the land is given to the local secondary school annually

The charity runs a care farm, which also produces educational benefits to the community and enhances habitats for local wildlife.
