The FIOH Fund wishes to make a significant contribution to the alleviation of poverty and the improvement of the natural environment by supporting the work of non-government organisations in poor countries with the same aims.

Preaching the gospel through evangelisation and teaching during services held.

We provide training in the care of newborn babies to healthcare staff in low-resource areas, in order to improve infant mortality rates and relieve sickness. We also provide training to candidate instructors, so that they can teach courses and make the process sustainable. We have taught in Cameroon, Liberia and Uganda, and plan to expand to other areas.

To advance education for children and young people in Cameroon, we provide educational grants for school fees and school supplies to children from the poorest backgrounds. We also carry out educational workshops in schools and local communities on the importance of education for all. Our work is guided by the CRC and the UN SDG Agenda 2030.

The maintenance, improvement, or provision of public amenities in Nigeria by providing modern state art toilets and wholesome drinking water and washing facilities in Rural Areas, Transport Parks, and other areas showing appalling state of sanitary facilities; and2. Supporting children and education in Africa.

The main objective of the charity continues to be the financial support of children and their families in the Philippines. The charity continues to seek to recruit individuals and organisations to sponsor these families through regular donations enabling the support of such families on an ongoing basis.

SAMI supports passionate, enthusiastic and talented individuals with powerful ideas to improve the current state of mathematics education in African countries. We provide expertise and funding necessary to implement, sustain and scale these ideas. SAMI currently supports projects involving maths camps, maths clubs, statistical software development, and increased use of technology in schools.

The trust awards grants to charitable organisations at home and abroad which are working to help disadvantaged people.Applications are received from these organisations and are considered once a year by the trustees. The applications are short-listed and local opinion then sought as to which of the short-list are favoured. Usually four/five grants are awarded.
