The Oxford Climate Alumni Network (OxCAN) is a UK-registered charity and global alumni network of the University of Oxford. We host a network built on Oxford alumni connections, to help people collaborate on mitigating and adapting to climate change. As well as managing various online networks for our members, we host events and post public material on our website.

The principal activity of the charity is to facilitate international networking in order to improve the prevention and control of healthcare-associated infections worldwide.

Publish books & CDs giving pomological advice. Encourage local primary school children to use a recently acquired site-a-gift for environmental educational purposes. Attend shows to disseminate information and give talks to various groups.

The charity seeks to provide grants and funding to support a variety of projects in the UK and elsewhere in the world, in particular to:i) relieving poverty and financial hardship;ii) advancing education of young people where there may be a lack of education readily available; and iii) relieving sickness and supporting the preservation of health.
