Religious activities

JCT makes grants for charitable purposes in four main areas of funding: population control, the natural environment, education and health.

Soel Connect runs a gospel music group / choir which seeks to bring hope to our communities through music and arts. Our aim is to pioneer in restoring and rebuilding the brokenness within our communities by leading with our sound and encouraging people to take part in life-changing musical experiences. Our activities and involvements enable social integration, interconnectedness and self-worth.

Cowbridge Music Festival is an annual festival, held in September in the Vale of Glamorgan, of chamber, instrumental and vocal music, jazz and folk music. Providing opportunities for young musicians it includes an extensive schools outreach programme, concerts given by young musicians and the Chamber Music Seminar. The Festival Fringe was started in 2018 to give opportunities to local music groups

Provide & maintain worship facility for Muslims (Sunni - Hanafi Sect of Islam) and education session for children, arrange funeral and generally provide help and support to the needy members of the community.

Amateur sport

MoorlandSTAR provide a hot 2course meal on Tuesdays, Wednesdays & Thursday. We are lunch club for the over 50s in the Splott area. We also host special events including Bingo and offer alternative therapies. We run regular day trips & a timetable of themed events throughout the year. We work closely with our community and are integral to supporting older people .

The charity's objectives are to care for sick and injured chelonia, to prevent cruelty and to inform and educate the public with regard to the legalities of tortoise care and ownership.

Teaching of Meditation and Buddhism

We aim to advance the Christian religion in the sphere of marriage and family life, to promote conditions in society favourable to stable family life and the protection of children, and to help those whose family life has met with adversity.

After-school classes for Literacy & Numeracy, KS2, KS3 & KS4 from Butetown and surrounding areas.English Classes for Speakers of Other Languages in Ely.

The prevention or relief of mental distress for the public benefit of people living in Wales in particular but not exclusively by the provision of evidence based, accessible psychological therapies, counselling and support services.

Recruit more choristers especially young people. To continue to expand our repertoire. Give schools and other young people the opportunity of performing with us. Give our experienced musicians the opportunity to continue their skills .To support charitable causes. Rehersals at Cwmbach Junior School, Llangorse Road, Cwmbach, on Monday and some Thursday 7.30 pm to 9.30 pm.

Charity provides nursery education for children between ages of 2 and 5 years old.

The provision of orchestral concerts to the public.

Provision of early years' childcare through the medium of Welsh.

The charity is involved in activities in Burkina Faso in line with its objectives, specifically by building and running a school, sponsoring children through high school education, well drilling, evangelism and training, supporting local church pastors, and setting up a mobile dental clinic.

Activities of the charity are to relieve the needs of children, young people and families who are in need by reason of age, youth, disability, ill health, financial hardship or social economic circumstances including the provision of advice, information, education and training, mediation, counselling and support services as well as helping people meet their own needs in society.

Baptist Church

The charity manages the incoming Norwegian Church in Cardiff Bay. It focuses on: Heritage - interpreting the rich history of the church since 1868 and its transfer to the existing site in 1992; Arts - running an arts programme; Community - working with local organisations and hosting events; encouraging Norwegian links with Wales.

To promote social inclusion in Cardiff, relieving their needs and assisting them to integrate into society. To promote mental health and relieve the needs of those suffering from depression, bereavement, loss or pregnancy related crises, by the provision of voluntary counselling, education and support for such persons.

CHURCH: to promote the gospel of Jesus Christ via Biblical research, teaching, and fellowship.
