Ffrindiau/Friends of Ysgol Mynydd Bychan (C.Rh.A Ysgol Mynydd Bychan PTA) fundraises and holds community events to raise significant monies that go towards enhancing and improving the Ysgol Mynydd Bychan's internal and external learning environment for all the children and staff. Events allow parents, staff and children to socialise as well as raise money for the school.

The Friends of St Martin's Music supports music-making at the Church of St Martin in Roath, and encourages musical participation and education, both within and outside of the liturgy. This is achieved through fundraising and grant making to choral and organ scholars who are university students.

Kotatsu Japanese Animation Festival, founded in 2010 is an annual festival presenting and celebrating the best of Japan's distinctive anime independent short films and mainstream feature films as well as educational workshops for children and people of all ages.
