Friends Of Greenway School (FOGS) comprises a group of parents and staff who meet together to organise fundraising events and social occasions for staff and parents to get to know one another on a more informal footing. Monies from fundraising events are used to provide additional resources and first hand experiences for our children to enhance their access to the curriculum.

An affordable counselling service and mental health support for individuals in Newport and the surrounding areas of South Wales. Clients are encouraged to make a voluntary donation to help cover costs. Counsellors offer their services on a voluntary basis. The service also has an educational component, offering placements for trainee counsellors and those working towards accreditation hours.

We hold Christian worship services. A coffee morning, open to all ages and areas. A computer class, tutored by the college at large. A craft, card making class for all ages and both sexes.

Sports & Recreation

We organise a festival week - sports day - xmas & may day lunches & outings - publish 3/4 community newspapers - offer general advice direction to other agencies - support other community organisations - campaign on community issues.

The Charity supports the preservation, maintenance and improvement of the historic church building of St John the Baptist in the City of Cardiff, together with its churchyard, for the benefit of worshippers, visitors and the general public.

Raising funds under the Parents Teachers Association

We are a small, one form entry Welsh school. We organise events such as Christmas and Summer fetes, Stalls in school for dates such as Mother's Day, Father's Day and Easter. We also organise evening activities such as curry night etc. We have a ongoing Lottery, which is drawn each week. The funds raised help the school purchase equipment for the children.

TO PROVIDE HELP TO THOSE IN NEED BY DIRECT SERVICE OR BY RAISING MONEY TO FURTHER THAT OBJECTIVE, MAINLY TO THOSE IN CARDIFF OR THROUGH CONTRIBUTIONS TO THE LIONS INTERNATIONAL TRUST FOR NATIONAL PROJECTS OR FOR HELP IN DEVELOPING COUNTRIES.

Environmental Charity

Offers financial assistance to churches in the Dioceses of Llandaff and Monmouth for the maintenance and improvement of bell installations

We are the PTA for Radnor Road Primary School, providing extra funding for Radnor Road Primary School and the children in it. Money raised may go towards extra sporting equipment the children may need, activities or electronic equipment.

School Parents Assocation

A programme of lectures in French (normally about 6 lectures per year); cultural and social evenings (normally about 7 per year); organised visits in France and the United Kingdom.

Choral singing

Rhiwbina Girlguiding Centre. Previously been used for Girlguiding activities but is temporarily closed whilst consideration is given to rebuilding the hall as it is currently not safe to use.

Grants for community activities/events

To advance the education of students from Cardiff and the Vale attending Storey Arms Outdoor Education Centre by supporting the work and development of the Centre through: 1) Providing financial assistance to individuals and groups from Cardiff and the Vale where charges are prohibitive and , 2) Assisting in the provision of facilities and equipment.

Organize Harp courses and Harp Festivals in Wales to promote the harp and maintain high standards of playing.

(A) To provide financial assistance to a brass player under 21 resident in South Glamorgan in recognition of his/her progress in the playing of brass instruments. (B) To provide such other award or assistance as is considered appropriate to a young brass musician (1) Being a member of S.Glam Youth Brass Band (2) National Youth Brass Band of Wales.
