POBL Cymru educates the public & businesses re mental health & the stigma that prevails. We hope to assist people with a mental health condition to overcome the barriers to work and to ensure they get the support & assistance they require to enable them to lead fulfilling lives. We will achieve this by training, mentoring & adopting a ?hands on? attitude to assisting sufferers & their families.

We are a non-profit charity that has been set up to help promote good mental health of veterans and serving members of the armed forces, who are suffering from combat related health issues. We are based in run from Swansea, South Wales, with a parcel of land near Pen-Y-Fan, which will be transformed into a retreat, that veterans and serving members of the armed forces can use for free.

Throughout the year we host Fun Days, Firework Nights & other charitable events, together with obtaining grant funding, to provide and maintain the playground equipment and surrounding public area which was gifted to the town in 1936 for public recreation. We aim to provide a safe outdoor environment for children of all ages and backgrounds to play in.

Newchurch Community Association is a community-led initiative to refurbish the Old School Room as a central facility for community activities. The Association aims to secure funding for the work, oversee the project, and manage the hall for the benefit of the whole community, and ensure that those on the periphery, geographically or socially, have access to a first-class amenity.
