Fundraising activities for Tavernspite CP school involving parents, teachers and pupils.

To give awards to deserving students to commence studies in college

The PTA serves to support the children and stakeholders of Tycroes School by providing funding and donations to increase opportunities and supplement the education and environment of the children.

The charities activities are to fundraise, e.g. by doing a sponcered walk, sports, barbecue ect

To develop a centre of arthurian interest at the county museum and to establish an annual oration in Carmarthen to be given by a distinguished scholar for which he/she will be adequately and reasonably paid.

CHURCH MEETINGSSOCIAL

Adult amateur orchestra based in West Wales Haverfordwest. We provide classical music to church's and other establishments in aid of their chosen charity. We also provide a community orchestra serving the region

1) To promote and protect the physical and mental health of patients with colo-rectal cancer in the Mid Wales area through the provision of financial assistance and other support and:2) To promote the education of medical professionals involved with colo-rectal cancer by assisting in the provision of financial support to attend training courses not otherwise provided.

Leading drowning prevention work,awareness and innovation in South West Wales. Also, supporting families bereaved by drowning to achieve outcomes in memory of their loved ones. Increasing young peoples safe engagement with water through fun and education. Supporting agencies to get water safety education into schools in Wales.

Organize Harp courses and Harp Festivals in Wales to promote the harp and maintain high standards of playing.

Provides a village hall and recreation ground for the use of the inhabitants of Crugybar. The hall is used for meetings,lectures and classes, community meals, whist drves and celebration parties.

tO PROMOTE PUBLIC PERFORMANCES AND TO ORGANISE VISITS TO THEATRES AND CONCERTS

The making of financial awards to recognise youngsters who have been active in voluntary organisations in Dyfed

To advance the education & training of students who have resided in Dyfed for a period of not less than 2 years and who are pursuing/seeking to pursue a course in medicine or medically related studies.

To raise funds to maintain a community centre and provide or help provide services, information, activities and opportunities for members of the community through clubs and groups such as Over 60's and computer club.

Babel Hall is an important focal point for a rural community in an area of small hill farms where there are three chapels but no shop, public house, church or other public meeting place. The hall serves as a venue for whist drives, talks, St. David's Day cawl, local Eisteddfodau, Christmas parties, bingo nights, games nights, meetings and other activities associated with a community hall.

University of the 3rd age to promote learning in later life.

Hire Reading Room to local organisations. Organise one or two fundraising events.

Public open evenings - 6 per year. Presentations at National Waterfront Museum, National Botanic Garden of Wales, Country Parks, talks & visits to other organisations. Evening lecture programme for members. Monthly "star-guide" in local newspaper, and on Society's website. National & local radio presentations.

Youth Organisation

FHWLT seeks to protect, improve and promote the route of the Heart of Wales Line walking trail from Craven Arms in Shropshire to Llanelli in Carmarthenshire, using public rights of way and roughly following the route of the Heart of Wales railway line. We do this by working with the relevant rights of way authorities. Our volunteers check the route and we raise funds to help to improve it
