The Charity raises money to buy equipment & pay for training for doctors in the Northwest of the UK (Cumbria, Lancashire & North Cheshire) to enable them to volunteer their services to this aim as well as coordinating their governance & training.

Relief of Poverty in the Parish of Barrow Cheshire

In the interests of the protection and conservation of the environment of Merseyside and the promotion of wider sustainability issues, MET engages in the following activities: organising events, meetings, educational opportunities, fundraising, awarding grants, provision of knowledge and expertise and working in partnership with other organisations.

BPCIG operates soley within the Parish of Brereton, Cheshire, for the benefit of the wellbeing of residents of Brereton. Our projects include developing and improving local facilities, for all ages and all abilities, providing information about Brereton, including events, running a youth group for our young people, and supporting other local organisations in their activities.

The charity was set up to preserve, restore and maintain Trafford Mill which is a Grade II Listed Building of public and historical interest, particularly from the Industrial Revolution. We open to the public on national open days and hosted events, along with personalised tours to interest groups. We operate in the building itself, which is a fine example of living history in today's climate.

Make grants to necessitous old women

Gives opportunities for girls and young women to take part in and experience a wide range of activities, to have fun, develop team building, to work together in small groups, to care for and respect each other and the world around them, and to do so under the common standard of the Guide Promise.

The key activities are:- coordinate and improve the interpretation of the landscape- protect and enhance the environment- improve the understanding of the heritage of the area- increase public enjoyment- encourage more volunteering- focus on education- celebrate the local cultural aspects- improve rural skills- work with businesses, landowners and local communities
