The Guild has a large choir who entertain locally and perform regularly for charity. Outings and events are held throughout the year. One of the purposes of the Guild is to promote continued education of women through interesting speakers and activities and to form a bond of friendship between members.

The Crewe and Nantwich Talking Newspaper provides a weekly service containing local news to its listeners who, are in the main visually impaired. The USB sticks are sent out to listeners each week and delivered back to the Talking Newspaper Office by the Royal Mail, as part of a national service to the blind.

The Association promotes a range of social and cultural events in the village of Moulton Cheshire

Research into local history in the Neston and Burton areas in Wirral. Publish books on local history from this research. Hold lectures for our members and the public and arrange outings for our members. Support local history activities in local libraries and civic centres.

Grant making charity in line with the objects of the memorandum and articles of association.

The Foundation makes grants to Over Peover primary school in order that the school may purchase musical instuments and provide music lessons. Other grants will also be considered on application to the Foundation.

THIS SOCIETY ENJOYS MONTHLY MEETINGS FROM SEPTEMBER TO THE FOLLOWING APRIL, WHICH ARE ADDRESSED BY GUEST SPEAKERS TALKING ON A SPECIFIC TOPIC OF LOCAL INTEREST FROM AN HISTORICAL POINT OF VIEW. WE ALSO ARRANGE DAY EXCURSIONS TO PLACES OF INTEREST IN THE SUMMER MONTHS.

The Group's primary function is to provide Associates with the opportunity to improve their standard of car driving to the level necessary to pass the IAM's Advanced Driving Test.
