The Institute's research aims to provide practical, policy-focused solutions for use by government and the community. It is focused on disadvantaged populations. Its research areas include heart disease, diabetes, kidney disease, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health, stroke, critical care and trauma, road injury, fractures, falls, chronic back pain and health care innovation.

Advancing education in science, technology, engineering and maths (STEM subjects) inparticular with the aim of increasing diversity in STEM subjects and improving representation of underprivileged students. Operating internationally in the UK, the United States, Netherlands, Denmark, Germany, China, Brazil, South Korea, Japan, India and other jurisdictions in which a grant would be beneficial.

To advance general charitable purposes, acting alone or in association with others, by such charitable activities as the Trustees shall determine, to include (without limitation) charitable activities designed to benefit the communities in the UK and overseas in which those who produce products supplied to John Lewis & Partners (being the trading division of John Lewis plc) live and work.

FEE acts as an umbrella organisation for NGOs in different countries that are implementing the FEE programmes nationally. FEE is mainly active through its five environmental education programmes: Blue Flag, Eco-Schools, Young Reporters for the Environment (YRE), Learning about Forests (LEAF) and Green Key. FEE operates worldwide and currently has 92 member organisations (NGOs) in 76 countries.

The Apax Foundation has continued to focus the majority of its giving on organisations which work in the areas of social enterprise, relief of financial hardship and the advancement of education.

The charity delivered child protection training and governance training (online, with assessment), reduced pricing for professional conferences and advisory services, emergency planning management, access to ECIS research, and funding (grants and fellowships). The charity launched a free global community platform for educators worldwide, as a public benefit.

Our charitable objectives lie in advancing microbiology research and education, and applying microbiological knowledge. These are achieved by organising our Congress and supporting courses and networking events; publishing specialist journals; building capacity; supporting our Member Societies; and creating visibility through projects such as the European Academy for Microbiology (EAM).

The GNDR's activities centre around the collaborative action in support of implementing the Hyogo Framework for Action (HFA) including the Views from the Frontline (VFL) initiative which produces reports of progress. The HFA was adopted in 2005 at the World Conference on Disaster Reduction held in Hyogo, Japan, to substantially reduce the loss of lives and livelihoods caused by disasters.

MapAction is a humanitarian mapping charity that works through skilled volunteers. Its aim is to save lives and minimise suffering by making the response to humanitarian emergencies as efficient and effective as possible.When a disaster strikes, MapAction deploys volunteer mapping professionals to the scene to help coordinate the response and get aid to where it is needed most.

Hofesh Shechter Company aims to advance the arts and culture for the benefit of the general public by promoting in the UK and internationally modern dance and other art forms including films and music with reference to performances and the work of Hofesh Shechter:and to advance the education of young people, dance practitioners and public through the provision of workshops,classes and performances

The MS International Federation is a global network of organisations. We collaborate to improve the quality of life of people affected by MS and work for: better scientific understanding and development of treatments; improved access to treatment and to trustworthy information; better policies and practices; a strong MS movement, including in countries with challenging socio-economic conditions.

CARE FOR CHILDREN IS RESPONSIBLE FOR DEVELOPING THE TRAINING MATERIALS AND TRAINING PROGRAMMES TO PROFESSIONALLY TRAIN FOSTER CARE STAFF ACROSS ASIA.CARE FOR CHILDREN WORKS IN A STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIP WITH LOCAL AND NATIONAL GOVERNMENT AUTHORITIES.

International China Concern is a Christian development organisation bringing love, hope and opportunity to China's children with disabilities. Founded in 1993 by David Gotts, International China Concern exists to help the disadvantaged live life to the full and to their God-given potential.

The charity held a Congress in Moscow via a special purpose vehicle and has set up a scholarship fund in Russia for local education legacies on sustainability of energy.The council hosted Youth forum events around the globe so that the younger generation can get involved with the sustainability of energy in a way that can help future usage.Publications were made available.
