FHWLT seeks to protect, improve and promote the route of the Heart of Wales Line walking trail from Craven Arms in Shropshire to Llanelli in Carmarthenshire, using public rights of way and roughly following the route of the Heart of Wales railway line. We do this by working with the relevant rights of way authorities. Our volunteers check the route and we raise funds to help to improve it

Community council provides recreational facilities, a community hall and cemeteries. The charity relates only to the memorial gardens and hall. The community council makes grants to organisations, not the charity.

To advance the arts for public benefit in particular but not exclusively by promoting choral and musical performance within the ecclesiastical tradition.

We support 6 local special needs day services to purchase equipment or provide extra activities that the local authority is unable to fund.

The charity provides financial support for children and young people and their families who ares suffering from terminal illnesses and need additional support which cannot be provided by the state.

Conducting projects to raise awareness of maternal health and foetal well-being by the provision of maternal aids and relieving the suffering of people who have experienced the loss of a child by bringing bereaved parents together and providing practical support and information to them.

Activity is to restore the vessel known as the 'Seamark' and to inform people of the maritime and industrial heritage of Swansea.

The object of the Association is to relieve the blind, or the partially blind, or those labouring under some temporary or permanent incapacity or disability which makes reading a strain, by the provision of recorded media.

Supporting the activity of the Glamorgan Heritage Coast Project in conserving the natural beauty of the environment and providing amenities for the general public.

Swansea Lions Club aims to promote and support the following good causes:-* the advancement of citizenship and community development* the relief of those in need by reason of youth, age, ill health, disability, financial hardship or other disability * the advancement of health or the saving of lives* the advancement of education at home.

The 'Friends' exist to promote Youth Music at all levels of ability and attainment and is run by a committee of volunteers who work closely with the West Glamorgan County Music Service. We help to provide financial assistance for ventures in youth music. We also provide practical assistance in the form of stewarding at concerts and organising refreshments at the County Music Centres and Courses.

To carry on or promote the carrying on for the benefit of the community the provision and management of housing, accommodation and assistance for the relief and care of elderly persons suffering from the disabilities of old age or otherwise being in need.

Working under the guidance of the local authority FoSP enhances the benefits of accessing green spaces by getting people involved in activities and volunteer days that it runs eg. gardening, ecological walks, litter picks, small scale events There are also benefits via community engagement which can improve cohesion in the local community by bringing them together to enjoy activities together.

We are Christian church, our aim is to win souls to God almighty, preaching the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ, and also doing charity work i:e helping the needy.

The relief of sickness of people who have suffered strokes in Wales in particular but not exclusively by providing or assisting in the provision of equipment, facilities, services and funds to assist with rehabilitation and the establishment of stroke support groups.

We support research into the treatment and causes of gynaecological cancer in South Wales. We also support the development of facilities to improve the care of women with gynaecological cancer.
