Wakefield and District U3A is a charity run by local people for local people with the object of giving enjoyment, the opportunity to learn, the company of others, meeting friends and making new ones. The aim is to keep body and mind active.

The Play Facility provides a friendly, welcoming and safe environment for all children visiting a loved one in prison. This helps the children cope better with stress and trauma associated with visiting a loved one in prison.

At our core we are a Library serving the Community of Walton and wider the communities of Wakefield.
