Providing grants towards the cost of maintaining and repairing the building, fixtures and fittings of St. Mary's Church, Bourne Street, London SW1

To advance, improve, develop and maintain public education in and appreciation of the art of choral music in all its aspects by the presentation of public concerts and recitals and by the making of recordings and other solely charitable objects as defined by the Charities Act 2006, or any subsequent act, as determined by the trustees of The Purcell Singers and delivered for the public benefit.

The Trust carries out its objectives by the making of grants as the trustees in their discretion see fit, to charities and organizations engaged in research, medical care, social care or otherwise for the relief of sickness among people impacted by Metachromatic Leukodystrophy (MLD). The main fundraising activity was a dinner and auction and funds were also raised through donations.

Provide free vocational training, including advocacy training, workshops and support with job applications. Provide students with the information necessary to make informed career choices, and increase awareness about professional opportunities in the legal profession and beyond. Enable students to meet with and learn from the alumni of the College and other experienced professionals.

The charity makes grants to organisations and individuals in the area of benefit, which is within a one mile radius from the Church of St James, Piccadilly.

Amenity Society protecting the architectural heritage and character of St Marylebone. Consulted by Westminster City Council on planning and licensing issues. Publishes newsletter and local historic material. Organises cultural educational and social events and visits.

No activities as such - only grants made to individuals through agencies

Revive and preserve the traditional ethnic designs and costumes of the various regions of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Support a workshop in Jeddah, where under-privilaged women and the hard of hearing work.

The following charitable activities were undertaken by the charity during the year ended 31st July 2018:-(a) Weekly Programmes which includes educational classes for almost 150 men and women.(b) Monthly Programmes on religious practice and educational programmes (workshop and seminars).

The charity provides support for people resident in Paddington who are in need. This assistance may include one-off contributions towards the purchase of furniture and household equipment, clothing, and arrears of utility bills. Pensions are also provided via Age Concern for up to 75 residents in need, and food coupons are distributed via local vicars.

Raising money for St Mary's Bryanston Sq School

The Charity provides a quarterly pension of -ú110 to ten pensioners who are refered to them by Age Concern Westminster. In addition the pensioners recieve a Christmas bonus of -ú75.The trustees will occasionally agree one-off grants to elderly people who are experiencing particulardifficulties.A small sum each year is paid to the clerk for expenses incurred.

Providing information, advice and referral services of people facing barriers to integration especially minority ethnic including people of African origin in areas such as housing, employment, income support and education.Providing advocacy services, guidance and support.

The charity's activities are to advance Parish and community education in the Parish of St Mary, Bourne Street, SW1W 8JJ or in the neighbourhood of the Parish and to provide facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation and leisure time occupation.

An amateur orchestra

The activities for the church are as follows:1) Various home group meetings during mid week 2) Weekly prayer meetings 3) Various Bible study courses for Church members and new Christians. 4) Weekly evangelistic events in the local community 5) Monthly youth meetings

We are a local conservation and amenity group founded in 1985 to protect and represent the interests of residents and businesses in the "village" of ancient Westminster (originally "Thorney Island"). In 1994 the society adopted the activities of the Friends of St James's Park and The Green Park. We maintain a large archive collection of documents and memorabilia, and arrange social activities.
