General charitable purposes

Elijah's Pot CIO is a grant-making charity that supports those that are disadvantaged, oppressed or discriminated against in the UK and elsewhere. Our work is carried out through established charities, activities, organisations and individuals.

Delivering training for young adults in personal and leadership skills to equip them for community leadership and transformationDeveloping or assisting in the development of social enterprises which provide employment and training opportunities, sustainability of programmes, and self-empowerment of communities. Based in Kenya, we're reaching nearly 45 countries in Africa by 2025

CARA defends the legal rights of poor people who cannot afford a lawyer and helps them to save their homes, keep their jobs and protect their loved ones by providing advice and information on immigration, debt, welfare benefits, housing and employment, HIV/AIDS prevention, care and support; quality basic education for all (especially girls), water and sanitation. Learn Achieve Become (L.A.B) works across the world, providing free education and sports projects in areas of high need. In particular, we aim to provide the most support to marginalised groups, such as people with disabilities and those living in extreme poverty.Currently, L.A.B works in both Madagascar and Guatemala, delivering 2 permanent projects.

Within the year, the charity made a total of 50 donations to the Evangelical Christian faith in all parts of the UK. Total donations amounted to -ú105,945.

The advancement of the Christian religion, in particular:- to develop an international ecumenical Christian community with a shared way of life- the resourcing of houses of prayer and hospitality- to promote research, education and resourcing of the existing and emerging church- to encourage spiritual growth through pilgrimage, retreats and provision of resources for worship and prayer

Publishing interactive lessons about health and safe living.

People in the eastern Congo (DRC) suffer from violence, instability and poverty - not least as a result of the wars in the region since 1998.The local Quakers work to rebuild their communities, providing medical care, trauma counselling, income generating opportunities and other initiatives to benefit all religious and ethnic groups.For QCP-UK input see http://www.quakercongo.org.uk

The charity supports the work of churches in the UK and East Africa, including the Training for Life programme for young people in Tanzania. It also assist with the university education of Tanzanians whon cannot afford it. It supports job creation through Equity for Africa. Various other donations are made to UK and international charities.

WITH offers vocational theological holistic education, aimed at existing local Church leaders and key Christian individuals. Our training aims to challenge and re-focus Christian leaders on existing Bible teachings in direct relevance and application to their immediate church and community context.

IRFF - UK works to eradicate the causes and effects of poverty and associated problems around the world, especially in Africa, Asia, SE Asia and Europe. We are part of an effective international network which includes the other 80+ national IRFF Chapters, and many other affiliated organisations and associations.

Harefield Church is involved in the local community supporting and providing a drop-in centre, Mums and Tots group, Coffee room, Harlow Foodbank, Children's groups and church services.The church provides pastoral support and help to those in need.Harefield church supports Great Open Door Schools Ministry which is working with local schools providing school assemblies and workshops.

The charity works to improve the delivery of anaesthesia in poor countries. To achieve this the charity: Supplies anaesthetic equipment that is suitable for use in developing world hospitals. Trains medical and technical staff in poor countries to safely deliver anaesthesia and keep anaesthetic equipment in working order. Supports research to improve delivery of anaesthesia in poor countries.

SUPPORT OF MISSIONARIES IN MANY COUNTRIES WHO TEACH THE CHRISTIAN GOSPEL; AND SUPPORT OF THEIR WORK.

EHM works in the area of the propagation of the gospel, spreading the Christian message and doing religious activities. We conduct charitable work in the UK, Africa, Asia and the Caribbean, by supporting education, organizing feeding programmes, clothing and shoes distribution and medical assistance where possible. Tackling social issues in our community, advocacy, mentoring and counselling.

Our aim is to freely distribute Bibles/Christian literature for the honour and glory of God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Ghost, in obedience to the great commission (Mark 16. 15, 2 Timothy 2. 2). We aim to show compassion to those in need (James 1. 27). Bibles and books are freely distributed in Africa and Asia, with support to an orphanage in Asia.

Relief of povertyOverseas aids/famine reliefreligious activities

The African Bird Club gives grants to individuals and groups in African countries to support a wide range of small to medium-sized projects there that benefit the conservation of African birds or their habitats. Our website is the primary online source for all things to do with African birds. We also publish a twice-yearly, peer-reviewed bulletin, and we are developing a series of birding apps.

The provision of clean and safe drinking water which results in the reduction/elimination of water-borne diseases, resulting in improved health, higher attendance rates at school and, consequently, better educational outcomes and improved ability to work, thus relieving poverty. We will also provide Water and Sanitation Hygiene (WASH) training for improved sanitation and hygiene.
