Provision of snowsport activities to people with disabilities

We hold events in the Cerrigydrudion area in order to raise funds for the children of Ysgol Cerrigydrudion.

Provision of social and recreational activities for stroke survivors and their carers living in the Abergele area.

The Charity maintains a building leased from the County Council to ensure library facilities for all people resident or staying in the area. Outside library opening hours, volunteers run various groups in the library building, such as Ancestry, Job Club, craft activities and social events.

Therapy Stars Foundation awards grants to children under 18 years of age who are living with long-term disabilities and their families, living within Shropshire, Cheshire, Mid or North Wales. The grants are for them to access various recognised therapies.

TO PROVIDE RELIEF FOR THE AGED, DISABLED AND POOR RESIDENTS OF QUEEN ELIZABETH COURT, AND IN PARTICULAR, BY THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES FOR THE CARE, RECREATION, AND LEISURE TIME OCCUPATION OF SUCH PERSONS, WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THEIR LIFE.

The charity exists to provide a community facility for Capel Curig and visitors to Capel Curig

Mythstories works with words, keeping oral heritage alive. We run a museum; organise projects and events to celebrate the heritage art of storytelling; link stories to landscape; share stories for community cohesion. We use storytelling as a gateway to literacy and communication skills. All age groups get involved in projects or visit the museum. Users are usually young people and families.

Conwy County Mencap and Gateway Club provide information & support to people with learning disabilities, their parents and carers. In addition they run various services in leisure, ski-ing, line dancing, discos etc for all ages of people with learning disabilities.

To promote brass band music and playing to the public, especially the youngsters. To present concerts and to provide tuition for youngsters and other members of the public who wish to play a brass instrument and to progress, from being a learner to our intermediate band, training band and eventually senior band.

Almshouse Charity

To support the work of the Museum and Art Gallery through fund-raising to assist the conservation of the collections and the cost of exhibitions, and the organising of public lectures to broaden the educational outreach of the Museum and Art Gallery.

To advance the education of the public in general and particularly, amongst professional and amateur historians, architects and archaeologists and local communities on the subject of pre-1750 buildings in North Wales, where possible using dendrochronology (tree ring dating); and to promote research into the history of such buildings by volunteers and specialists; and to publish the results.
