Criteria; We support projects in areas where Samworth Brothers is an integral & important part of the local community.We support clubs and organisations who promote community participation in healthy physical recreation of particular sports & in the education of healthy nutrition.Our main target group is young people under aged 18 years old from hard to reach and disadvantaged groups.

The aim of Homemaker is to prevent homelessness and promote independence. The services we currently provide cover Devon, Plymouth, Torbay and Somerset. Our services are usually for people who are at risk of losing their home or are in financial distress and include money advice, budgeting, debt advice, advocacy and tenancy sustainment. We also provide services to reduce re-offending in Devon.

The provision of theological education and training for Christian ministries, candidates being presented by the participating churches, together with the provision of theological education to members of the public and delivery of 'Exporing Christianity' modules to lay disciples.

Provision of regular public acts of worship open to members of the church and non-members;provision of sacred space for prayer and contemplation;teaching of Christianity through sermons, courses and small groups;pastoral work including visiting the sick and bereaved; provision of youth activities, women's group, toddlers' clubs, meals on wheels service and warm space all with a Christian ethos.

PRE-SCHOOL CARE AND EDUCATION

The Foodbank helps individuals and families in crisis through the provision of emergency food, other necessities and help towards energy costs. Agencies refer people to the Foodbank Centre where they can collect or receive a home delivery. We also offer support to gain cooking skills and help to ensure clients maximise their income and in certain cases help to manage outstanding debts.

The Cornwall Historic Churches Trust was formed in 1955 to assist in the restoration and repair of Cornish churches which have architectural or historic merit. The Trust is a registered charity and churches and chapels of all denominations are eligible to apply for assistance.

We are the UK HQ of the Free Methodist Church with 25 Churches in GB, 5 in NI, 3 affiliates in England,1 in Eire. In 2016 we furthered our religious and charitable work by operationally, financially, and spiritually supporting new and existing churches in the UK, raising funds/volunteers for international childcare, a missionary hospital in Rwanda, other overseas mission and humanitarian relief .

The charity is running a nursery and nursery school for children between the ages of 3 months and 5 years. It operates 5 days a week between 7am and 6pm. It also has a holiday club for children in the area, not necessarily at the nursery, up to the age of 8 years. The summer club is open and offered to visitors to Crantock. All activities of the charity are open to all.

To relieve the needs of persons suffering from dementia by the provision of reminiscence therapy and to educate the families of persons suffering from dementia and health care workers in reminscence therapy.
