Prickles and Paws Hedgehog Rescue is dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation and release of native British hedgehogs. We admit hedgehogs from all over Cornwall and into Devon, working closely with vets and the RSPCA. A helpline is provided for both the public and vets. We attend events and offer educational talks, workshops and run a research program to improve hedgehog care and conservation.

Par Bay Community Trust has been set up to serve the community of St Blazey, Par and Tywardreath in Cornwall, by preventing or relieving poverty, advancing the health of residents, developing skills, advancing education and assisting in the provision of recreational facilities. We are based throughout Cornwall, rescuing special animals of any kind, including the sick and terminally ill.We offer permanent homes to any animal in need, but specifically offer help to dogs who end up in pounds, i.e., strays or dogs that are not reunited with their owners by dog wardens and that may otherwise face euthanasia through no fault of their own.
