St Pirans Playschool is a pre-school for age0-5 yrs, providing morning/afternoon sessions plus a lunch club, all day care is available 8-4pm five days a week during school term time.

COMMUNITY USE

To promote and support equality and diversity; advance education, elimination of discrimination andsupport mental health. Forresidents of and visitors to Cornwall, (the area of benefit) and where relevant nationally & internationally insuch ways as are charitable at law.

The charity provides advice and support to farming families through the services of a Farm and Rural Outreach Worker(1) to prevent and relieve poverty or financial hardship, and to relieve sickness and preserve health, amongst farmers, their families and workers primarily through the provision of advice and support; and(2) to relieve and prevent the suffering of animals,

Prickles and Paws Hedgehog Rescue is dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation and release of native British hedgehogs. We admit hedgehogs from all over Cornwall and into Devon, working closely with vets and the RSPCA. A helpline is provided for both the public and vets. We attend events and offer educational talks, workshops and run a research program to improve hedgehog care and conservation.

We mainly support charities and organisations using music and the performing arts in a social and therapeutic context, though some grants are made to wider general charitable purposes. Support to individuals is extremely rare.

Operation of a pre-school

The preservation and restoration of buildings of architectural or historic interest anywhere within Cornwall or the Isles of Scilly. The charity operates on a rolling fund basis, by utilising its funds to buy, restore and sell. In the light of the increasingly difficult property market, greater emphasis will in future be put on working in partnership.

Local Church activities public worship,weddings, funerals & child dedications. Parent and toddler group, marriage courses, youth group for 11-18's and kids club for 8-11's. The building facilitates back to work club, & boxing club.The building is used by the NHS, Social services and local authority for training, this is not an exhaustive list.Refugee support, and other charitable activities

The society's object is to provide the means by which people may learn to perform music, act and dance and to entertain. The society supports other charities by performing concerts in and around the Redruth area but has also travelled to Scotland and Lancashire to support local charities there. It provides access for the public of all ages to learn and enjoy the dramatic arts.

The Livewell Foundation administers the charitable funds for services run by Livewell Southwest CIC. It also awards grants to support community projects and initiatives to help improve health and wellbeing, prevent ill health or reduce social isolation within Plymouth and South West Devon.
