Operation of a pre-school

The charity operates in the RC Diocese of Plymouth & in accordance with its core values of love, justice & forgiveness it*supports families by providing a free parenting programme*makes grants to children and families in dire need*encourages children to think about the needs of others less fortunate

To provide education, training and services to young children and their families. The main activity being the provision of education and care of children below the age of 5.

The Charity holds an annual one day agricultural show in Cornwall on the second Saturday in July

Mercy Rescue Trust runs a baby rescue centre in Kitale, Kenya. Babies who would otherwise be left to die are rescued, nursed back to health, and re-homed with local families. The centre is staffed by Kenyan nationals, maintaining the local culture and providing local employment.

Educational Theatre

Helping those in urgent need in Cornwall to make a new home and a fresh start with recycled household items from the local community. We help those referred to us by Social Services and other statutory bodies: the homeless, refugees, ex-prisoners, the elderly, long-term sick and those being re-housed or fleeing domestic violence. We also support clients and volunteers with work experience.

DDE IS ESTABLISHED TO PROMOTE MAINTAIN, IMPROVE AND ADVANCE PUBLIC EDUCATION, PARTICULARLY BY THE PROMOTION OF GLOBAL EDUCATION IN DEVON

Lanivet and District Under Fives is a pre-school setting for children over the age of two and under the statutory primary school age.We provide essential support for all families and a much needed foundation for education. The children learn to socialise and receive important foundation learning in literacy, maths and other subjects.

Provision of pre-school education for children aged 2-4 years of age

We are based in Camborne and rescue and rebuild old bicycles, we work with people of all ages who are disadvantaged by health, learning or a disability to achieve this, each person works on a one to one with a volunteer or member of staff, and they learn new skills that will help them in the future. They also learn to work as a team and make new friends, reducing isolation and building confidence.

to promote the efficiency and effectiveness of Christian based charities in the furtherance of their objects or any one of them, mainly but not exclusively, by the provision of information, advice, support and infrastructure provision; andthe relief of financial hardship, either generally or individually, through the provision of grants, goods or services.

The Penguin Sports Foundation provides therapeutic activity in the form of aquatic physiotherapy and accessible sport for children with physical disabilities in North Devon and beyond.We currently provide hydrotherapy 1:1 sessions, a frame running club & a Hydrotherapy after school group session.

Provision of playschool facilities to under 5's plus breakfast club and after school facilities up to the age of 11 years

Little Merlins provides care for children aged 2-5 years in Helston and local surrounding area in Cornwall. We employ qualified staff to care for all our children in a purpose built building. The building provides plenty of open space for children to play, learn & develop, which includes equipment and facilities specifically for pre-school children. The building is regularly used by family service

Marias Animal Shelter is based in Probus.As a charity we try to help as many animals as possible, who have been abandoned, abused, neglected or are unwanted. The farm animals that have entered the shelter will stay with us for life, whereas the small animals, when ready will be put up for adoption. If for any reason they cannot be re-homed, they will stay at the shelter for life.

The Livewell Foundation administers the charitable funds for services run by Livewell Southwest CIC. It also awards grants to support community projects and initiatives to help improve health and wellbeing, prevent ill health or reduce social isolation within Plymouth and South West Devon.

Management of the 'Lambeage', the 'Walled Garden' and the 'Lambeage Village Hall', for public use by the local population

CURRENT ACTIVITIES INCLUDE VINTAGE BUS RUNNING DAYS WHERE THE PUBLIC CAN EXPERIENCE BYGONE TRAVEL, RESTORATION OF HERITAGE VEHICLES, AND RESEARCH PUBLICATIONS.

Advance the christian religion by proclamation and example.This is achieved through regular services in worship and other events, the release of workers for action in the local community, involvement with other churches and pursuing other charitable purposes as the trustees shall from time to time think fit

To protect indigenous flora and fauna, preserve and improve features of historic and environmental interest; educate the public in issues relating to biodiversity and traditional skills.

To relieve the needs of people with Learning Disabilities or Autism who live or work in Cornwall and the surrounding areas. By assisting such persons to develop their full potential and obtain their rights and privileges, particularly but not exclusively by the provision of Advocacy,Support,Advice,Information,Education and Training.
