Bowel Cancer West is dedicated to promoting research in the diagnosis and treatment of bowel cancer, education and training of the public and health professionals who care for bowel cancer patients across the West Country

The provision of child care, play, creative and youth activities for children, young people and families from the inner city wards of the City of Plymouth.

The Penguin Sports Foundation provides therapeutic activity in the form of aquatic physiotherapy and accessible sport for children with physical disabilities in North Devon and beyond.We currently provide hydrotherapy 1:1 sessions, a frame running club & a Hydrotherapy after school group session.

To train all members in all activities towards becoming a surf life saver (Lifeguard)

Raises vital funds for medical research and support to students at the University of Plymouth Peninsula Schools of Medicine and Dentistry and the wider healthcare community.

1. To provide almshouses for elderly persons of good character who are in need of assistance and born in the Borough of Penzance and the Parish of Paul or lived there for the last 5 years.2. Provision of an extraordinary repair fund.3. Residue for the benefit of the almspeople.

In order to achieve the objects of the charity the trustees have the power to purchase or hire a motor launch to carry patients, medical supplies, doctors, dentists, nurses and other persons working for the health of the people of the Isles of Scilly.

General charitable purposes for residents of St Just and neighbourhood and the general public, including education on the subjects of history and heritage in particular, but not limited to the history and heritage of the chapel, and providing facilities and services and looking after the buildings and graveyards of St Just Miners' Chapel

PORTREATH PRE SCHOOL IS DEDICATED T0 PROVIDING AN ENVIRONMENT FOR CHILDREN WHERE THEY CAN LEARN THROUGH PLAY. OUR AIM IS TO ENHANCE THE DEVELOPMENT AND EDUCATION OF CHILDREN UNDER STATUTORY SCHOOL AGE BY ENCOURAGING PARENTS TO UNDERSTAND AND PROVIDE FOR THE NEEDS OF THEIR CHILDREN THROUGH THIS COMMUNITY GROUP

Par Bay Community Trust has been set up to serve the community of St Blazey, Par and Tywardreath in Cornwall, by preventing or relieving poverty, advancing the health of residents, developing skills, advancing education and assisting in the provision of recreational facilities. Initially we aim to fulfil these aims by means of a Community Hub.

The charity is an evangelical Christian church.

We provide a village hall, whose premises are used by a wide range of local community, charitable, sporting, recreational, and educational organisations and clubs.

We were set up for the people who live in and around the parish of Veryan on the Roseland Peninsula in Cornwall, so they could access sport. We are the home of Veryan Indoor Bowls, Veryan & District Outdoor Bowls, Veryan Cricket Club, Veryan and District Tennis Club and Veryan Football Club.

Grants to support evangelical Christian gospel ministry for those working in Christian churches or charities. Area of operation is Devon and Cornwall with an emphasis on Exeter, Devon.

The provision of low cost houses and flats for rent to persons in need, with preference being given to those born or who have lived for the last 10 years in the former borough of Launceston. Such charitable purposes for the benefit of the residents as the trustees decide.

Provision of housing accomodation to elderly/old people of limited financial means.

The Charity has been established for the preservation, protection and promotion of good health amongst the patients registered with The Roseland Surgeries, Cornwall, by providing information and equipment together with social activities to reduce isolation.

Provider of training for various disciplines in the construction indusrty and related organisations. Raising awareness of various environmental and sustainable issues relating to the building sector and providing consultancy and advice.

The primary object is the advancement of the Christian Religion. This is achieved by providing a suitable building environment for the various activities of the church fellowship. Regular meetings are held on Sunday's which are open to the general public. In addition we host activities for all age groups at various times. These activities take place primarily at the chapel in Scorrier Cornwall.

For young people in the rural community to gain skills and confidence in a variety of events, with the opportunity to represent their County in competitions.

ELM Wildlife rescue and rehabilitates British wildlife, primarily hedgehogs but we do take other wildlife when space allows; we medicate and house all casualties. Our capacity at the moment is 220 animals, we are supported by a team of over 100 volunteers and we are open 365 days a year. To advance the education of children and young people in the South West of England who are identified as having high academic potential but face barriers in progressing their educational aspirations due to social or economic disadvantage.

We maintain a ministry of 'helps' for the entire Christian community and for the wider population by:1 The availability of literature through the Christian Bookshop in Launceston 2 The availability of help through prayer,ministry,outreach and counselling3 Discretionary grants for local people training or engaged in Christian work4 Encouraging people to find faith in our Lord Jesus Christ

Provide for upkeep and repair of parish church and burial grounds of the Ecclesiastical parish of St Dennis (St. Denys), Cornwall, and maintenance of services therein. Promote the religious and other charitable work of the Church of England in the parish of St. Dennis and to provide for matters incidental to these purposes.

The charity provides a focal point for the community of Morvah and surrounding district. It provides educational and leisure workshops for all ages. We provide concerts, poetry, talks and films. We have strong links to the art and crafts and provide a showcase in the gallery and coffee shop to emerging artists. The schoolhouse is the polling station for Morvah at election times.
