Fundraising for Pensilva School

A number of fund raising activities are undertaken, including a Fete, Coffee Mornings, Concerts,Quizs, receipt of donations and bequests,maintenance and leasing a Property,an annual Draw, Bingo,Flag days,sponsored walks etc.Funding is then allocated for the benefit of Patients of the local Bodmin Hospital.

The Purpose of the Club is to provide sporting, vocational and recreational opportunities in lifesaving and surf lifesaving in the St Austell and mid-Cornwall area, through coaching, training and education.

THE ACTIVITIES OF THE SOCIETY ARE THE PRESERVATION OF INDUSTRIAL ARCHEAOLOGY OF CORNWALL, THE COLLECTION AND COLLATINF OF ARTIFACTS AND MUSEUM ACTIVITIES

Setting up a website for the charity and a blog, disseminating the weekly newsletter of the Franciscans of the Immaculate at Lanherne and other information about the Faith. To provide bursaries and awards to the sons and daughters of farmers or farm workers or students who can demonstrate commitment to the dairy industry and show aptitude to add value to the industry in Cornwall, Devon Somerset and Dorset who are to study a dairy-related topic at tertiary level, or equivalent.

Fund raising activities to enable the Club to do what it can for all peoples of the world.

The Coachouse exists for the public benefit, the prevention or relief of poverty of those living in and around Tintagel by providing food, including cooked meals, and other essential items to individuals and families in need and such other means, including (but not limited to) the provision of support or signposting to relevant aid sources.

Religious activities for people of a particular ethnic or racial origin. The advancement of the Islamic religion, education and religious activities for the local Muslim community.

Monthly members meeting and hire of hall

Staging local theatrical productions involving its members and other local people, including children. These productions include musicals, plays and operetta. The society aims to improve and educate the public taste in these arts with the object of raising funds to be devoted solely to charitable purposes.

Provision of facilities for many private and other charitable organisations. Facilities for the nearby school for assemblies etc, now providing "walking bus" access to school via Centre for safety of the children. Sport's hall used weekly by disabled groups for bowling etc. The use of the building to it's full potential for the benefit of the surrounding community.

Provision of facilities for local community clubs, educational activities and recreation, and to provide a space for community activities and events.

Education of new and more experienced beekeepers, school children and the general public through apiary visits, school visits, attendance at a number of local events and shows, and the publication of a monthly newsletter. Collaboration with Orchard owners to provide pollination of trees and other crops. Other activities related to the welfare of honeybees and the craft of beekeeping.

Present professional educational presentations and have related resources available on sharks and marine conservation for school students, adults, divers and the general public worldwide.Organize shark and marine conservation related activities and courses.Conduct shark and marine conservation research projects including citizen science projects.

To promote community participation in healthy recreation, by the provision of facilities for coastal rowing,in particular Cornish Pilot Gigs, for the benefit of the public.To advance the education of the public in the traditions and heritage of Cornish Pilot Gig rowing andCornish Pilot Gigs

Village Hall Management

The hall is used by various organisations in Goonhavern & District. It is used by all ages from children to senior citizens for Gardening Club,Old Cornwall Society,,Guides,Brownies, Cubs,Beavers,Playgroup,Parties and meetings.

The trustees meet twice a year to consider requests from individuals and charities living or operating in the counties of Cornwall, Devon and Somerset. Their objectives will be in community projects, education, medical, health, disability, poverty relief and emergency aid.Please submit applications by email to Liz Williams in January and February or July and August.

FUND RAISING FOR THE COMFORT AND CARE OF PATIENTS IN LAUNCESTON HOSPITAL AND COMMUNITYIN LIASON WITH THE MEDICAL SERVICES.

The charity is a set up to help any person with any mobility issues. We take people from aged 14, full training is given. We have a membership scheme for regulars and one-off hire. We work with our volunteers, who often have mental health issues or physical disabilities, to better their skills and give them work experience. We have a second hand bookshop on line to help fund the project.

Scout group offering activities to boys and girls aged between 4 and 18, through various sections (Squirrel Scouts, Beaver Scouts, Cub Scouts, Scouts, Explorer Scouts).
