Village Hall

To collect, conserve and interpret the heritage of Padstow and District. Providing display and access to artefacts and information relevant to the history of Padstow and District. Opening to the public as a Museum from February to December and at other times by appointment.

Fundraising for Pensilva School

The Charity provides simple,comfortable and affordable accommodation for four local, needy, elderly persons. It was primarily established to help house poor widows in the Town or locality of Fowey.

The hall is available for sports and leisure activities for use by the local community.

The objects are to apply the trust fund at such times and in such a manner to or for the benefit of such exclusively charitable objects or purposes as the trustees in their absolute discretion think fit.

To primarily facilitate use of the hall by third parties.To run a limited number of fund raising events ourselves.To restore aspects of the hall such as the balcony and improve the condition of the hall and it's facilities.

The activities of the Launceston Choral Society are as follows:1. Rehearse selected classical choral works and sing them at concert to a paying audience, usually at the Central Methodist Church Launceston.2. Three works are performed annually, plus a Christmas Concert also with a paying audience.

To Promote Agriculture and its improvements in:a) The breeding and rearing of livestock.b) Horticulture and Agriculture.c) Agriculture and Domestic Produce.d) Rural craft and skilld in particular to hold an annual Primestock and Produce Show

Making grants in furtherance of the Christian religion and the relief of poverty

The charity's activity is to promote,improve,develop and maintain public education in and appreciation of the art and science of music, in particular choir singing, by the presentation of public concerts and recitals.

Management of Warleggan Jubilee Hall and holding of fundraising events to support running costs of the hall

Fundraising events in order to provide equipment/toys/learning resources to children and young people with disabilities

Fundraising events held to raise money for Pencalenick school

The Society offers its membership a series of ten lectures from January to December each year on the decorative and fine arts, two study days, visits to places or events of interest and a short tour. Liskeard Arts is a member society of The Arts Society . Details of our activities can be found on our website www.liskeardartssociety.org.uk. There are also volunteer groups for arts activities.

We have two lounge style rooms for hire.

MONTHLY MEETINGS FOR WI MEMBERS. ALSO PROVIDING ACCOMODATION FOR CLASSES AND EVENTS FOR LOCAL GROUPS AND INDIVIDUALS.

To educate the public by preserving and collecting historical information relating to Tavistock and the surrounding area and providing library facilities for reference and research.We currently hold Coffee mornings Writers Groups besides offering research and study opportunities

TO MAINTAIN A STRONG COMMUNITY SPIRIT, BY THE PROMOTION AND DEVELOPMENT OF SOCIAL ,SPORTING AND EDUCATIONAL ACTIVITIES FOR THE BENEFIT OF LOCAL RESIDENTS

Raising funds to purchase items or activities for use by the children of Parc Eglos School.

Community Village Hall, in Lanteglos-by-Fowey, used for recreation, education and enjoyment, including a Local Produce Market, coffee mornings, gardening club meetings, parties, weddings, youth and fitness, Parish Council meetings, polling station, recitals, choirs, talks and plays, Age Concern meetings and lunches, Christmas and other seasonal festivities, School Governor's & Staff training days.

Hedgepigs & Hoglets Rescue is dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation and release of sick, injured or orphaned native hedgehogs & small wild mammals back to their natural environment. We carry out actions to conserve habitats & engage children and communities with the 5 pathways of nature connection play and awareness raising activities. We work with wildlife organisations & vets
