To provide a succesful speech & drama & music festival for all the community including schools and people of all ages to take part using professional adjudicators.This is an Annual Event and in Saltash Wesley Church.We are affililated to the British Federation Of Festival and employ Professional Adjudicators from the Federation.

Religious activities

Our objective is to advance the education and wellbeing of pupils in the school by developing effective relationships between staff, parents and others associated with the school. This is done by organising and engaging in activities or fundraising to provide facilities, resources and experiences which support the school and advance the available opportunities and experiences of all pupils.

Village Hall on the outskirts of Newquay providing a meeting place for local clubs and activities.

To provide training facilities and musical instruments to young persons within our own training band and for our senior band to perform at brass band concerts and other local events both indoors and out to our visitors and supporters, mainly within the county of Cornwall.

Preserving the past and shaping the future with training and education in Cornish rural crafts.Cornwall Rural Education & Skills Trust CIO, known as CREST, was founded to address the need for training in the endangered craft of Cornish hedging and raise awareness of the rich value of hedges in the landscape.

To raise funds to enhance the learning experience of children attending St Nicolas CofE School.

Donations at trustees discretion

We help raise funds for the school from various activities such as fayres, school discos, cake sales, random fundraisers such as non uniform day, breakfast with Father Christmas and pop up shops selling 2nd hand uniform etc. Funds raised go towards supporting summer trips to beach with ice cream & Christmas cinema/experiences, in addition supporting extracurricular resources.

Celtic Chords Harmony Chorus is a women's four-part a cappella group whose aim is to foster public knowledge and appreciation of this style of music.Based in Truro but performing throughout Cornwall, we develop members' musical and performance skills through regular rehearsals and coaching, and run open rehearsals and workshops for the public.

As Scouts, we believe in preparing young people with skills for life. We encourage our young people to do more, learn more and be more. Each week, the 2nd Torpoint Sea Scout Group give young people of the Torpoint area the opportunity to enjoy fun and adventure while developing the skills they need to succeed.

Provide inhabitants of Mount Hawke and neighbourhood (without distinction of sex or of political, religious or other opinions) in the interests of social welfare, facilities for recreation and leisure time occupation with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants.

Provides funds for young people going to University or FE College

Supporting the activities of cricket clubs in the South West, in particular in relation to the development of youth cricket.

We raise money from fundraisers to enhance the education of children at St Newlyn East Learning Academy. We contribute to costs for educational trips and purchase equipment for the school.

Provides ranges, coaching, equipment for full-bore, small-bore and air gun shooting throughout Cornwall.

Provision and maintenance of a hall primarily for St Teath inhabitants but also the public, provided its use does not undermine the object to advance Christian religion, including use for recreation and leisure with the object of improving conditions of life for the public. To meet this object for benefit of the public by allowing occasional free access to the hall by members of the nearby church.

Regular meetings of members for group activities, crafting, training, community projects (e.g. refurbishing play equipment for local schools), Repair cafe, socialising etc.Raising funds by selling donated items or crafted items.
