SUPPORTING THE PARISH CHURCH OF ST LEVAN IN THE COUNTY OF CORNWALL

Our club meets fortnightly during warmer months and monthly during winter. We are a mixed group of ages and abilities. The meetings are social gatherings where we drink tea ,eat biscuits, plan outings and meals. We are a jolly bunch who like a laugh,help and support each other. The highlight of the meeting is usually a game or some other type of entertainment.

Provide emotional support and signposting to parents and carers of children and young people 0-25 through groups, telephone and virtually by trained parent befrienders who have experienced the same emotions and feelings associated with parenting and caring for a child with additional needs or a disability. the same

Promote,support,assist and improve Lawrence House Museum

To advance young people in life through the provision of facilities and instruction for sailing so as to develop their capabilities that they may grow to full maturity as individuals and members of society.

The charity provides a facility to benefit the local and surrounding communitys for the use of their activities. This includes Theatre productions, snooker, dance and meetings.

Promoting male voice singing throughout Cornwall.2.Increasing public awareness of the cultural traditions and heritage of male voice singing in Cornwall and its benefits to local communities.3.Encouraging composers and arrangers to produce original music/arrangements for the future development and diversity of male voice music.4. Facilitating and organising massed choirs events.

Valued Lives operate community based mental health services throughout Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly. The 3 areas of service are:- A community crisis service- Community based specialist social care- A well-being club

The Callington Memory Cafe exists to provide a welcoming venue for people living with dementia and their carers.We achieve this by meeting every two weeks for 2-3 hours in a suitable location presently the Callington Methodist Church Hall. We provide light refreshments. At every meeting we arrange an activity, from flower arranging to musical entertainers.

Volunteer fundraisers aiming to provide additional extras to enhance the childrens educational needs

To provide social and cultural activities for the village and also to provide maintenance of the village hall.

Fundraising for Mullion School.

We raise awareness and funds to assist in our twin aims: To relieve financial hardship for: Those seeking refuge from conflict in the Middle East and North Africa. Those granted refugee status and their dependents living in Cornwall and Launceston in particular.We support a Syrian family resettled in Launceston.

We support disadvantaged women to build confidence in accessing groups and services in Plymouth, Cornwall and Devon. Our work addresses barriers to education and social mobility. Through confidence building, targeted social activities and community research we promote better lives for marginalised peoples and support services to improve their practice by sharing insights of often unheard voices,

Advancement of heritage by preserving of Pengersick Castle for the public benefit, maintaining and enhancing The Castle its associated buildings, historic contents and surrounding grounds. Providing for the education of the public in the historic heritage of The Castle: restoring the gardens; and extending by purchasing adjoining buildings and/or land formerly part of The Castle.

Providing a drop-in, community centre and facilities for the people, in particular the elderly and over 50s, of st Austell. It is also used by various groups such as Darby & Joan and other vulnerable groups. The area covered includes St Austell Town and surrounding areas.
