Wild Futures is a registered charity whose aims are to promote the welfare, conservation and future survival of all primates to increase public awareness about animal welfare issues and to promote environmental and wildlife conservation and sustainability at local and global levels. Wild Futures runs a Monkey Sanctuary for animals rescued from inappropriate conditions and the UK pet trade.

To educate in and promote the Arts and Sciences for the public benefit and to further the development of the public appreciation of the Arts and Sciences.CAST aims to promote participation, appreciation and learning in the visual arts and to encourage interdisciplinary dialogue and collaboration across the Arts and Sciences and is committed to the pursuit of excellence.

Activities include building the local church to become "Communities within communities serving throughout the city"; training, equipping and sending out church planters and workers; running Alpha courses; work with students (local and international); local mother and toddler group; work with local youth.

HOME-START OFFERS FREE SUPPORT, FRIENDSHIP AND PRACTICAL HELP TO FAMILIES WITH AT LEAST ONE CHILD UNDER FIVE WHO MAY BE UNDERGOING PRESSURES SUCH AS LONELINESS AND ISOLATION, DEPRESSION OR SEVERAL PRE-SCHOOL CHILDREN WITHOUT THE SUPPORT OF FAMILY AND FRIENDS. FAMILIES ARE VISITED REGULARLY IN THEIR OWN HOMES BY VOLUNTEERS WHO ALL HAVE EXPERIENCE OF PARENTING AND KNOW HOW HARD THINGS CAN BE.

Religious activities

The charity's principal activity is to provide education and childcare for children below compulsory school age in the St Austell area. In addition, the charity provides education and childcare for school aged children during school holidays.

Ahimsa is a local voluntary-sector initiative, providing specialist help and intervention programmes to perpetrators of domestic violence and linked support services for their partners/victims. Ahimsa is approved by the Department for Justice as a provider of domestic violence perpetrator programmes to the Family Courts, and is fully accredited by RESPECT.

To advance the education of the residents of the parish of Roche, and its environs, in the provision of facilities for education & childcare.

A Pentecostal Church in fellowship with Assemblies of God GB & NI which promotes the advancement of the Christian faith. Providing Regular services of Christian worship, pastoral support and study groups. Serving the community by operating a Domiciliary Care Agency (Greenbank Care) and day-care services for adults with learning difficulties (IMPACT). Supporting missionaries at home and overseas

LandWorks is a ground-breaking resettlement charity working with those in prison, or at risk of going to prison. Using the structure of a working day to teach transferable skills and work intensively on a 1-2-1 basis, we help them develop a crime-free identity, move away from offending and back into jobs and the community. We have proven we can break the crime-prison-release-prison cycle.

ELF aims to lighten the load by supporting families affected by blood cancers and blood disorders across the South West.ELF provides transport, a counselling service, accommodation, complementary therapies, a CAB-funded advice and guidance service, legal services through partnership and refreshments for patients and relatives awaiting day case appointments.
