The Dai Rees Foundation (DRF) is a charitable organisation made up of UK based registered Paramedics. Our aim is to provide assistance to remote and rural locations across the globe by increasing health awareness, facilitating emergency medical training and donation of medical equipment. The DRF will also act as a trust and provide financial and logistical support to similar projects.

1)To advance the religion of Islam by enlightening others mainly through distributing copies of the Quran (including translations to other languages). 2)By distributing the Manzoom Tarjuman Quran, a direct translation of the Quran in the language Urdu in poetry style. It is not simply a translation of the Quran, but is written in a poetry format without adding certain words to translate the Quran.

Two donations £500 each both within UK. Donations aimed at assisting other registered charities or charitable ventures in their relatively early stages

Educating public on matters related to sustainable developmentAddressing the issue of the energy poverty through "Power to the homeless" initiative

Adding to collective knowledge on transport and health and educating and informing the public in general, scientists, social scientists, engineers, public health professionals, transport professionals and decision-makers in relation to the wide range of impacts transport and health have on each other. Key fields of concern include active travel, air pollution, climate change , transport safety etc

INBAM workshops, conferences, seminars and international conference sessions in partnership with professional associations, publishers and universities. Editor guidance, education and support for young researchers in developing good articles for publication in top journals. Promotion of ethical publishing in business and management in association with the publishers of reputable academic journals

To further such charitable purposes as the trustees see fit, especially to relieve suffering and to promote spiritual wellbeing including human rights, racial harmony, equality or diversity in the United Kingdom or overseas.

We are committed to enhancing students understanding of the institutional and political in-working of the United Nations (UN) organisation. Through attending simulated UN conferences, students act as ambassadors, representatives, and national leaders of their assigned countries whilst debating a variety of issues in a manner consistent with the procedure of the real UN.

We promote sustainable development for the benefit of the public by the preservation, conservation and the protection of the environment and the prudent use and protection of natural resources including fauna, flora, water, soils and air. We educate the public in subjects relating to sustainable development, the protection, enhancement and rehabilitation of the environment. Operating world-wide.

The society was founded in 1982 to promote friendship between the UK and the republics of Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, Panama and Belize. It organises lectures, social events, and fundraising events in collaboration with the embassies and sometimes with other charities. It also has a programme of small donations for charitable projects in the region.
